Hi Chris. First of all, welcome to the forums at Susans Place. Glad you found us.
I was wondering why you are not covered under some sort of insurance, as you are under 26 years of age and have what is, for ll purposes, a congenital condition.
I am in southern California and am on a PPO plan, so I can't speak for Utah. Perhaps a few of our Utah members will see this post and chime in.
Generally speaking, after you receive your diagnosis letter, you will fall under the care of a physician who will prescribe the appropriate blood tests and medications. Having an intersex condition will likely cause you to vary from what protocols other MtF transsexuals do - and properly so - everybody is different.
You may want to introduce yourself on the Intersex Talk board, where others who have been in your shoes can knowledgeably advise you.
Make sure, also, you are aware the exact dosages of HRT medications cannot be posted on the site, so as not to facilitate self-medication. Otherwise, you are good to go!
