So, I've been on T for 20 months and about a week ago my period started.  I called my endo to let him know and to ask about my blood test results which I had just done a few days ago.  He told me that my estrogen was very low and my testosterone level was similar to an 18 year old cis-male.  So when I told him my period had started, he paused, then said "Are you kidding?" which made me laugh out loud. (No doctor, I'm really not kidding).  He said there is no way that it is menstrual bleeding because the hormones that trigger it are virtually non-existent in my body (obviously there is some estrogen but at a very low level).  He's sending me to a gynecologist to have a transvaginal ultrasound done to make sure everything's ok.  Just the thought of this appointment is making me anxious.  I'm not sure when it will be yet but most likely fairly soon.  Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what could possibly be causing this.  I'm stressing a bit so I was hoping to get some piece of mind.  Anyways, thanks for reading  :)

Hey there, just wanted to respond. I had a buddy who had a similiar problem, he was aobut two years into T and he started spotting (not a full on period i think) He turned out fine, just had to adjust his dosage. I think a lot of guys get spotting at some point in their transition.

i had spotting around 1 year 6 months on T and my doctor said it was fine. From my understanding, the uterine lining still builds up, just very slowly and not very much and it has to be let out eventually. My levels were fine as well.
