Thank uuuuuuu for all the congratulatory responses... :D :D Sorry I have to do this.... YippppeeEE!!!

It IS amazing how it snuck up. And wow does it feel incredible to say the least. I have always read posts from folks here about how amazing full time is, and I can now attest... you people speak the TRUTH!

My confidence has been through the roof all day, I was strutting my stuff all over the office in my favorite pair of shoes- my new sneaker wedges... lol. One of my male coworkers did a double take and was like "DAMN, nice outfit! You are really changing everything"... *smiles with nod of approval* My response was a tiny little "uh huh" and a smile so big it hurt. Probably going to get smile lines if this keeps up, crap!! ...just kiddn ;)

Anyway I think this answers my question... There really is no "too fast" as far as transition goes. As long as you know it's right, are comfortable, and the people around you are stoked to see the changes when you test the water, there is nothing wrong with going at whatever pace you want. As far as transition overall- if I can feel half as good as I did today tomorrow et al it will easily become the best year of my life so far. Alright I should cut this off now before my excitedness takes this post into happiness overdrive land.

SO STOKED.. OK must go now!

Love you susans!

Fantastic post Sis.

So happy for you.

I think it was the weekend after I went FT that I gathered all of my boy clothes and trashed them. I could never contemplate wearing them again. Oh I did keep one set of gardening/work/doing dirty stuff boy clothes. I had some tasks last weekend that were of that type. I couldn't wear them.

So I got some girl work-outside clothes and threw the boy ones in the trash

Enjoy your glorious new life.

My therapist also commented about the "more rapid" transition than I first anticipated, and it was common for girls to significantly speed up their transition process faster than they planned.  I didn't even plan on venturing out in public as Kimberly until I'd been on HRT for months and lost a significant amount of muscle mass.  The plan for FFS/GRS was to wait at least one year for FFS and then live full time and let the hormones continue to do their magic for another six months/year after FFS before GRS.  However, after going to my first Therapy appointment in femme and experiencing the freedom of being Kimberly in public all that changed.  I even went to my first endo appt as Kimberly (waiting for hormone scrips to arrive in the mail now YAY!!).   The challenge for me (especially for those of us who do not pass very well -yet) has been talking/interacting with strangers.  The more I experience as Kimberly the more comfortable I feel and the more I like it, and the more I want to go full time :)

I just had to add - I ended up wearing cut off shorts and a boob tube, when I asked a neighbour for help to lift something he almost burst a blood vessel. Not sure where >:-)
