Hi All,
Just joining Susan's Place after being a long time reader. I have finally taken the leap into my transition and am very happy to be on the long road towards myself. Began therapy back in June and have just been on HRT (e and spiro) since Jan 9. Hoping to meet some new friends here, learn more and share experiences.

All the best,
Me.. the real Me!

Hi brightercloud, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9984  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi brightercloud,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Congratulations for a great start to your journey. You've kicked it off well. Keep making those right decisions and you'll succeed at ever turn.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

To all of you wonderful ladies... THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL SOO WELCOME!!!

It is such a good feeling to be part of a community, not just a bunch of people who sympathise or who are 'trying' to understand.. but rather to together with some wonderful people who have walked a step or several ahead of me. I am humbled by your welcome, courage and support. Love to you all!

BTW Jamie D my screen name (BrighterCloud) came about after I came out to my wife, the sense of relief was phenomenal.. although nothing in comparison to the sense of peace that has come about since starting HRT. I've loved clouds for as long as I can remember, just laying back and staring at them. When I was going through those rough patches, they were my 'Dark Clouds' which were more and more frequently occurring before coming out. So BrighterClouds are where I want to be and where I feel I am day by day... Life is Good girls!!!

Was I really the 10,000th member to join?... If so... Yay!

Hi EmeraldPerpugilliam and thank you for your welcome!

I have to say, if my experience is anything to go by... you are going to be getting the best sleep of your live when you go on HRT. I've never slept so good... best decision of my life :-)

Good luck with your transition... how are you currently presenting?

stubble growing, dark circles under eyes(sleeping well) and a little pale so nothing to new. So I guess the same as I was pre HRT haven't any changes yet(even subtle) but early days so far. do dress femme probably won't for awhile although the way I will dress won't be too different til now.

Did by what I though was a LBD but on the receipt it says tunic, I think it will go well with a pair of jeans just need to work out my size.

How is HRT going for you at the moment?.

PS: Growing my nails out at the moment and it is making typing a bit trickier ;)
