I love American Gods by Neil Gaiman!

It's got Thoth in it.  And Loki.  And Anubis [-insert girlish squeal-]. I'm most of the way done with it and I'm dying!  xD I love this book so much!

Augh, that sucks Aaron, on so many levels. I don't understand homophobic people at all. Like, why do they even give a crap if two guys want to kiss? It doesn't affect them at all.

Well, at least I'm done with page 1 of my briefing paper, only one more to go!

That's what I think!  But she's not a 'homophobe' since she says she doesn't mind if someone's gay as long as they don't do anything in front of her.  -.-;  And then proceeds to make comments like the one stated earlier. I'm like "what are you going to do when I bring home a guy for the holidays after transitioning?"

Lol, oh yeah, the whole "I don't care if you're gay but don't shove it in my face" line. :P

I'm getting Valentine's Day dinner. ;D As soon as my friend is done getting dressed she's going to pick me up and we will be good to go. I have to admit, I am actually a little nervous about homophobia since, yeah, I can't really seem to pass and we've been called out twice this week already. We're "proximity Valentines." :) I have to say, although I don't care much one way or the other for V-Day, it's nice to just celebrate it anyway.

My mom said that once, so I told her, "I appreciate that you gave birth to me, but don't shove it in my face all of the time."  :P

I'm thinking I want my mom to stop putting my birth name before and after every sentence just to annoy me.
Also thinking violent thoughts of breaking someone's face for making me hurt myself by insistently asking to help with the laundry basket and calling me darling while doing it. I don't care that I'm short and you're tall and work in my building- I can deadlift that cart all by myself. I'm a big boy now, okay? Acting like I'm a little girl will make me injure my neck by snapping it up as I whip the cart from ground up the whole flight of stairs in one shot just to prove that I don't need your help. Even if I were really a cisgirl, you should know better  >:(

Edit: Not that I'd do that. I'm really aggressive, but in control of how I channel that anger and hate the idea of ever hurting someone.

I'm sorry to hear that someone belittled you, but he didn't hurt you, at least physically...  ???

Watching Forbidden Planet alone for valentines day. One of the girls from work was sent a barbershop quartet. It was amazing! They came and sang twice! She was off site when they came the first time, so they sang for the rest of us and came back later to sing for her. I hope somebody loves me enough to know to embarrasses me this way someday.

I found a great groupon for laser hair removal. Can't wait to be beard free!

Yeah, the injury is indirectly his fault because he wouldn't go away or even get out of my way after clearly offending me. Therefore it's all his fault  :P

:P It's a silly line. >.>

Hahah, awesome. ^^  >.> I got spaghetti at home and a card from my parents.  My dad even bought me flowers yesterday.  I'm a sucker for flowers. :P Any guy I land in the future has to get me flowers. XD

@ Diana:  XD I'm not brave enough to say something like that to my mom.

@ Liminal:  Sue him! j/k. XD  But that dude was a prick. -.-;

I'm thinking about when I came out to my sister and asked her if she remembered the convo we had in the 5th grade when I told her that I wish I was a boy and that I'm going to get surgery to be a boy.  She said she doesn't remember.  It's been over 10 years so she probably doesn't remember that phone convo and I don't expect her to but there's a little part of me that wonders if she really does remember (if she thought about it hard enough at least) but doesn't want to give me any "ammo" for my confirmation.  Perhaps she's trying to deny it.

Meh she probably did forget, but I remember like it was yesterday.  I was laying on my stomach and looking through the cubby hole of my bedrest.  I remember her words when I told her that.  She told me, "well I'm going to pray that you don't get the surgery."  Heck, at the time, I didn't even know it was really possible.

It's funny how things don't change 10 years later.  That may be a good indication that she won't accept me in the future.

Yeah, I just don't like it when women try to use childbirth as a weapon to justify their misdeeds. In my class, one kid was talking about how his mother doesn't do any work around the house or at his dad's podiatry office and that he does all of the work, and two girls had the temerity to say, "Well, she did give birth to you."

While that is a true statement, she did it 17 years ago and knew what she was getting into when she got pregnant. Pregnant = Inevitable delivery. Was she expecting people to invent teleportation technology in the time of her pregnancy so that she could warp her baby out of her uterus without feeling any pain? Heck, she was also too selfish to gain much weight, so her sons (yes, fraternal twins) were skinny premature babies. I don't care if she gave birth to anyone; doing so doesn't justify her wrongdoings. Hmph.  >:(

My mom does say something similar.  She got mad at me for not wanting to teach and said "Well, I had to put with you all these years.  I had to deal with your attitude so you can deal with 130 students." And I was like "except you chose to have me and you wanted to have me."

Time needs to speed up so I can get out of here and start transitioning.

Best of luck, bro. Everything feels like it's just out of reach.

Same to you.  I know that feeling.  Just got to take it one goal at a time.

Words of truth, my friend. I'll take what I can get and correct the new people I meet who think I'm a freshman, and eventually I'll build up the courage to out myself to the friends who know me from before I knew I couldn't live like that so that everyone uses my preferred pronouns and at least a masculine nickname, if not Max. Want to save that name for when I'm well into transition so that I'm not accidentally outed by an old friend once I go stealth.

Winter sucks because my hot food/drinks go cold far too quickly  :P   But then on the bright side, I don't have to worry about my beer getting warm too soon  8)
