    My need to know that my life has some good and some meaning to it. I just couldn't die thinking and feeling that everything was really as bad as I felt it was.

I guess

Geez    I'm alive because my heart is beating, because I can feel the wind and the sun on my face, because I'm answering this glorious question...but most importantly, I'm alive because I know I'm not dead!
