Well I reached the two month milestone I've seen a lot more changes than I had expected in the first two months. Which has been a shock to some of my family. Speaking of family I seen some family members I have not seen in well over a year. That I'm not out to! They kept on commenting on how my face has changed and have I lost more weight. I wanted to let the cat out of the bag. About my transition but I promised my mom I would not out myself this weekend especially my uncle who she says cannot keep a secret and he would tell everybody! I joked I might use him as my nuclear option when I'm ready to tell the rest of the family. While I'm on the subject of coming out I plan on coming out to my aunt and uncle on my dads side of the family sometime this week. I'm still trying to work up the courage to tell my best friend. Whats funny is I had a easier time telling my mom than I have him. Anyway back to the subject of hormones I got a check up with my endo tomorrow well actually today since it's past midnight I'm actually excited cause the first time I went I was in guy mode as I call it. But this time I'm going as me I've been planning this outfit for weeks yes I said weeks! I'm actually looking forward to getting my blood work done and seeing what my levels are as far as e and t are concerned. Well I think my testosterone is pretty much suppressed I can tell that by my lack of a sex drive. And the fact that my breast are growing faster than I had anticipated!No complaints here I knew what I was getting into when I started hrt. But if my first two months could bring this much changes. I'm really looking forward to the changes that will happen in the next 6 months. Hopefully my appetite will calm down because ever since starting hormones I've been eating a lot more if it wasn't for the fact that I'm in the gym almost everyday day I would be really packing on the pounds! Even though I have gained a few I figured I needed to put on a few pounds anyway. So I would actually have some weight to redistribute to my hips and other areas that need more cushioning. But to wrap this up I can say my first two months on hormones have been the best two of my life and I can't wait to see how much I change in the coming months. Anyway sorry for the long post and rambling.

I'm sooo jealous...I got my referral to a Psychiatrist; From what I have heard she is really nice. But I'm still afraid I won't be able to get hrt. I'm almost too terrified to book my first appointment...

I understand when I made my first appointment with my therapist I was shaking I was so nervous. But I got over that quickly as soon as I had my first session. I went in there with the plan I was going to hold nothing back. I told her things I had never told anybody before in my life. Therapy has helped turn my life around a year ago I could not see myself being in the position I am now. Sometimes I stop and think how far I've come in a short amount of time and it amazes me. Just remember all of us have been at that point you are now and bet all of us were just as nervous. I sure was! 

Congrats...... Girl. and all the best incoming out to your Uncle and aunt. but Be careful with the eating habits. I gained almost 20 pounds in first 6 months of HRT without eating anything.

I'm going for a followup endo visit this week; have considered going "en femme," but as she wants to do a complete physical exam that might cause complications. Meh. Might go anyway. Confuse some poor receptionist.

Do you have moments of nervousness/anxiety around every potential pitfall? I know that when I got my first liver test results back I was nervous as a cat - just the chance that I'd be unable to continue was frightening; it was like exam results day back in college.

Awesome Heather and Zoe, can't wait to hear how your visits went. I need to get my checkup scheduled soon. Really curious on the levels and also if she is going to make any changes. Yes, I am a little nervous but since things are going so well, but not too nervous. (If there are liver problems I can always switch from oral.) I too am going to go en femme. HUTO girls!

Yeah I'm pretty nervous! I keep on being afraid that something will be wrong with me and take me off hormones. But I think I'll be alright I'm just being paranoid!

Well made it through my appointment! So far so good she took my blood work and should know by the end of the week what my testosterone level is. Now on to do some shopping while I'm in girl mode and got this big city all to myself!

Yes it is and it's even better when your dressed as yourself. Its finally nice to use the clothes I have been amassing over the last 7 months

That would be nice. I've been taking tons of pictures since I got my new phone.

LOL PurrrrRRRRRrrz it gets better... 30 plus years "amassed" wardrobe you'll need a crow bar to fit new outfits into your  closet.. My only down side is the outfits from my punk clubbing days,now at age 45, are relegated to Halloween only.. (((sighs)))    sings...  Memories

Thanks Lorri Kat my problem is what I'm going to do with my guy clothes. I need them for now. But this two life thing is for the birds! I just can't wait until the day when I'm living just one life. My test are just my testosterone level which I can feel pretty much suppressed.

  Banish them to a laundry basket in the corner of your room.. till the  glorious day you shove them in garbage bags and drop them off for donation at your local Goodies or Sally's.    Yea  two life thingy sucks!!!   Nothing like the terrorizing panic attack as you shut your van door and realize ..O.O  My PURSE!!!!!  I don't have my PURSE!!!!..  OMG..  ....ohhh..  in drab mode.. keys are in your pocket..  ..silly girl.
