I've been reading a book called Monkey Mind: A Memoir of Anxiety. And it's incredibly disturbing how much this man's story resembles my own. Down to the tiniest details. Not just of the anxiety, but his life history...

On one hand, I like having days off for US holidays (Today is President's day).  But I've been out of stuff to do since 11, so I'm just vegetating and watching Netflix.

I like having days off. :3  Though currently two months without a job is killing me. xD

But, soon, I might go buy this really cool salt and pepper shaker set from the 1950s. :D  It was made in Japan and is so cute!

I need to find a hair stylist! I've been growing my hair out since last June and it's time to make it look decent. Oh well maybe this weekend. :)

Every time the hissing comes back and I get my hopes up, they are subsequently crushed by the inevitable clank of the heat shutting off. My room is an excellent refrigerator.

Why do most animals have tails but humans don't?

We have a vestigial tail.

That sucks, it wouldn't happen if I was there, I know how to intimidate people who don't care about others.

Thanks. The problem is that it's not just people, it's also the pipes. Metaphorically and literally it's cold in here- something always breaks on the coldest of days.

Yeah, but people are suppose to get these things fixed and their renters ought not to have to suffer on account of their failure to be pro-actively involved in taking care of these important things.

Limes vs Lemons

I prefer lemons.  Although, I've always wondered why glasses of lemonade come with a lemon wedge instead of a lime wedge...

You also look a little bit like the man who wrote the book too! When I read the blog of his that you forwarded to me I saw that his mother mentioned that he was sometimes lazy with doing things he needed to do like breathing and avoiding situations that make it worsen. Another way you two are similar but I will not take on the role of your Jewish mother so smarten up.  :P

I can't choose between lemons or limes.  Limes are cuter though.

Lemons taste better. I don't see anyone drinking limeade.   :P

Kroger sells (sold?) a cherry limeade that was really good.  I haven't looked for it in a few years, though.
