What are your favorite brands for lipstick and mascara?  Do you get manis and pedis?  Wear pressons or acrylics?  Polish or french manicure?  What brands and styles for bras and panties?

I have a deep and abiding love of manicures, my wife treated me to one a year or so ago and I've been a regular ever since. No pressons, though, I prefer my own nails. For makeup I've found quality to be worth the price and so have tended toward brands like Mac, Origins and Wet & Wild. Origins is also great because they don't test on animals, which is a big deal for me. Ironically my favorite underwear style has turned out to be boyshorts because I like the way they make my butt look.

I'm not that big on makeup, but I would love to have a makeover done professionally so I can learn how to apply it property.  I do love nail polish. I would have to say OPI is my favorite.

For my nails it has to be rimmell, their nail varnish goes on smoothly & dries quickly. They have a wonderfull range of colours.
The only downside is if you don't use a clear top coat it will only last a couple of days, with a clear coat however my nails only need painting once a week

For my lip color I love Lip Sense. It does not rub off so I only need to apply it once a day.
My favorite brand of nail polish is OPI. I use their double duty top and bottom coat and only need to paint my nails once a week.
I wear which ever bra is comfortable. I have a few different brands.
I prefer Jockey bikini panties. They are cotton, so they breath and they are made of thick material, so they make tucking easy.

Rimmel, lasting Finish, 1000 kisses, lip tint and balm. It is like a felt tip on one end and regular lip balm on the other. It is cool cause I am really bad at lipstick. Way messy. For nails I have this missguided nail varnish which I overlay with a clear rimmel nail varnish, since it makes it much shinier and hides my poor application skills :P

I do my nails myself, getting better at it too!

PS Bethany you should just practice, it is not so hard. You will look bad at first but so long as you realise that then you can improve.

^^^^THIS

I was abysmal at putting on my own makeup when I first started, but practicing regularly allowed me to get to know the contours of my face better and become more familiar with how much of what to put where. Also, check out how other women are wearing their makeup when you're out in public. That really helped me get past the clown face stage of makeup application.

I'm not much of a nail person, I keep them clean and neat but nothing long or obnoxious.

I wear boring hanes bikini panties, oh ya sexy! :P

I'm kind of simple that way I guess. Jeans and T-shirts for me.

Same here... Makeup got boring to me really fast. My nails are super fragile so painting them is pointless. As for underwear brand... whatever's cheap and holds up the muffins.

I've found lots of nail colors on sale at "Rite-Aid" stores

Also I've noticed that Victoria's Secrets quality has slipped over the last year or so and their prices have gone up, I have been buying undies and bras at SOMA.com lately, great sale prices and nice quality things that fit very well :)

Makeup and those goodies are compliments of my wonderful spouse ;) but she wants to take me for a shopping trip at the mall soon so I can get my own stuff instead of using her expensive designer brand things, lol

Take Botin if your not already. It promotes healthy nails, and hair.

Serena, what's Botin? I've been taking Tums calcium supplements for my nails but just can not stand the taste. I'm up for any alternative.

I do! It doesn't work.... My nails used to be healthy until I started HRT. Now they're eggshell and chip / tear all the time.

"Botin" is a vitamin supplement that promotes healthy hair, skin, and nails. They say it promotes healthy hair re-growth as well. Not proven but many believe... I also recommend taking "folic acid" its good for hair and nails too. Both are in my daily regime of pills.

You can pick both bottles up for like $12 from Walmart.

Excellent, thank you! I'll have to give it a try. I've been taking folic acid for a while already but will certainly have to look into Botin. It's funny, my stack of various pills and supplements is swiftly outgrowing the medicine cabinet.

I wear any bra that looks comfortably and easy for a girl without breasts to wear. I never wear thongs and mostly just wear bikini style undies. I use Covergirl for mascara, because that's what my friends recommend and powder foundation, only because it's easier for me to apply. When I wear lipstick it's by Revlon because that is what I've always bought and is relatively inexpensive. I always wear Wet N' Wild nail polish because it is cheap and surprisingly durable.
