Hi Alicia,
Sorry to hear you've run out of your meds. If I read your post correctly, you are only on E?
The same thing has happened to me before, and I was mortified. I did start on both E and T blocker at the same time. I ran out of E once and could not get E for almost a week. I was not too worried because to me, stopping T was more important. T does more damage to us girls.
To answer your question. In my opinion, it is not a train smash, IF, only for a short while, but try to stay regular on your meds. Any time that you stay off your meds, it is like like taking a backwards step, IMO. Let's just call it the yo-yo effect. Not really what you want.
Have you spoken to your endo about going on some form of T blocker?
They say with age comes wisdom. I now ensure that I have enough E to see me through two months at least. I only take E now and have gone off the T blocker seeing that I recently had an orchidectomy. At least one less pill to worry about.
I hope you will come right with your meds soon.
Huggs
