Congratulations, you're "medium."  :P
But I have small bones ;-;
Seriously, I have too much fat for my liking. I don't care if it sounds girly- I can be a boy and also want to be thin.

:eusa_wall:

No one's saying you can't. We're just saying that you may not actually be fat.  :P

>.> If it's off of the BMI, that thing is crap.  It doesn't take into build and whether or not you have muscle.  I'm 5'10" and am at 192 lbs.  According to the BMI, I need to be 42 lbs lighter to be at a "proper" weight.  >.>;

I understand wanting to be thin. :3  I want to be thin, too, but not so thin that my bones are sticking out.

And almost done with my DoDEA application. :D

Taking into consideration average bodily composition, it's the closest thing possible. If there are any extenuating circumstances, then it's crap, but it's good for "average" people.

The issue is the idea of "average".  I've met so many healthy, toned people who are constantly being told they need to lose weight because their BMI is high due to muscle mass.   Likewise I've met unhealthy people who could stand to tone up, but they're in the right BMI range.  Then I've met people in the middle.   The BMI is infuriating to me because it won't take build [small, medium, large, etc] into mind.

I couldn't healthily be at 150, but I've had people I need to get down to it to be healthy.  @.< It frustrates me to no end.

It uses build...

That must be new.  Every generator on the health sites I've been on won't take build into consideration. =/

...but what about guys under 5'2? :c

Since you're 4'11'', 5' is close enough. Sorry, but short men aren't considered on most charts.  ???

Liminal Stranger

Now, isn't there an interesting discrepancy in the numbers on those charts? Also, boo. At least we find all the spare change and then use it to buy useful stuff to shove in our pockets  :P

There isn't a discrepancy. One gives you a range, while the other gives you one number. It's pretty close, which is impressive considering all of the variation on this info.

I like the male one better. :P I don't have to lose so much weight there.

I really need to get more PS2 games.  Sims Castaway, DBZ BT 2, and GTA Vice City are in the mix of what I need to get

I'm very overweight no matter how you slice it. I miss being skinnier. Losing weight has always been excruciatingly difficult for me. :(

It's going to be months before I'm a decent weight even if I go crazy with the dieting and exercise. So much work, and I'll probably end up failing, so I save myself the disappointment and don't even try. I've failed dieting and failed with my exercise enough times.

Too much squishy. I can see my ribs and yet my pathetically sparse-haired stomach is squishy.

Shaved a ridiculous amount of white fuzz off my chin and surrounding areas. Now it's all itchy.

Then keep on trying! You only failed once: when you stopped trying!

When I first came to the US, I gained weight. I lost it with effort!  :icon_pelvic_thrust2:
