I finally mustard the courage to come out to one of my good friends (who happens to be my recent on and off gf).  I do admit having 1 drink of sprite and vodka to help keep my nerves down.  I actually did it over text and then went over to her place to talk.  At first she thought it was because of her that I became transgender.  I explained to her that it definitely was not her and that I've been in denial for 27 years.  I told her that just recently I came out to myself and have been trying to find the real me.  Some tears were shed and emotions flowing.  She still kind of thinks its her fault though and now she keeps telling me she doesn't think she is pretty ect..  very difficult times..
