I want chocolate cupcakes, but I can't have milk or egg yolks or gluten or processed sugar. This diet sucks. On the other side of everything, my boyfriend is 5'2, something around 108 pounds, and would vacuum up an entire cake in 3 seconds flat.

Also my dad is being kicked out of his housing in the hotel because Red Cross is ending the stay there for displaced people. My grandmother isn't likely to take him and he's been being picky about finding a place. For ->-bleeped-<-'s sake, I'm NOT sharing my bed with him again. It just makes my life that much worse, not even mentioning the fisticuffs that went down when he stayed here the first time. Why.

I agree. I agree with cutting down/out gluten and processed sugar (and starch), but milk and egg yolks are healthy. Egg yolks are full of nutrients and milk is a good source of calcium and stuff.

"I'm not scared of heights; I'm scared of falling."

...No you're not. The fall is fun. It's the collision with the ground that's scary.  :P

Nah, I'm actually scared of the fall.  I don't like the sensation which is why I won't skydive.  I'm fine with the collision because, if it's high enough, I'd die and not really care. :P  And if it's short enough, I'll just hurt myself badly or not-so-badly. :P

Yolks are good with nutrients but also bad with cholesterol. Here's hoping my numbers went down after this. Right now I'm on calcium, vitamin D, and a multivitamin for the past decade or so with a year in between. The doctor said I was old enough to stop them, we did, and a year later my levels came back so low (especially vitamin D) that I had to go right back on everything to get them in a more normal range.

But the problem? My mother's side of the family is Italian. Also she's going to get pizza now.  :'(

Do you like the sensation of being on a roller coaster? Wind flowing through your hair, fast pace, and flips? You can experience all of that when free-falling. The fall is fun, the collision is what hurts.

Cholesterol has an undeserved stigma. You actually need it for cell membrane fluidity. It's not all bad. Plus, I eat a dozen eggs per day at minimum, and I am perfectly healthy.  :P

Nope.  I'm not a fan of roller coasters because I have an insane fear that they're going to break or that I'm going to get out of the restraints...and being so high up...it's scary.  If I went wind in my hair and a fast pace, I'll go motorcycle riding. :P

So you're afraid of hurting yourself? Well, the fall doesn't hurt at all!  :P

Same with me. It's the complete lack of control during the fall I don't like.

Indeed. Not all cholesterol is bad. Besides, I figure it's better to have the nutrients than not have the cholesterol.

Hey, I'm in AP Bio  :P
My body just seems to be really bad at processing...well, everything. Also, bone age came back as 17. I've heard many mixed reactions to that method of determining potential for growth, but c'mon. Can't I at least be 5 feet?

I'm fine with getting hurt. :P It's the fall itself that gets me.  It's seeing something rush up so quick and having no control over the speed of it.

Liminal Stranger reminded me that I'm feeling squishy today too, so today I'm taking in only low sodium chicken broth. Besides daily workouts and normally a low-fat, zero sugar and low sodium diet I find that a quarterly denial of my gut and broth only keeps me from being Faaaaat!

I am thinking that having given my son a room to stay in (back in January), helped find him employment, helped buy him a car, and helped get him into an apartment... subtlety failing it's goal, I am now going to have to go wake him from his slumber, and tell him it's time to get packing.

Hate to be that way, but my life is a little nicer with an empty nest.
I ain't scared... I just don't want to mess up my hair.

Been there Sadie, it's tough love! I did the same with my youngest and came home early one day. There he was asleep on the couch drooling on the cushion. I said, "Where's that job you were going to get?" He says, "I'm having a hard time finding one!" I say, "You sure won't find one with your face buried in those cushions, give me your key, you just moved!" If I had let him be a deadbeat he would never have grown up and probably still be lounging on my couch.  I don't sponsor any flops!

No, that's not right!   :'(
I'm sure you're at a healthy weight. I just have really bad issues with being squishy because I associate it with not being tough, which pulls up another set of issues I don't like to think about.

I must become a titanium wall.

Exactly! Do you have to be a bird to enjoy a documentary about birds? Or a woman to enjoy a show where the protagonist is a girl? In the end, it doesn't significantly impact your life that some people on the internet now know of your status as a heterosexual fan of this show. It's like saying "no homo" after a sentence because you think it sounded a little sexual or weird or whatever. Point is, no one cares. Now get on with life and focus on something more trying than your quest to prove awesomeness as a heterosexual person because that just makes you lame.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.  There was this girl in my class that told another girl in my class that she looked good in a picture but she immediately raised her hands up and said "no homo".  That's just childish.  People act like being anything other than straight is a disease.

I showered in my underwear. =/ Dysphoriaaaa.

People are so defensive about their sexuality. I remember one guy posted lyrics from Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" on his FB, and then underneath he goes "I'm not gay, it's just a catchy song!!" Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if he was gay or bisexual, because on a lot of other occasions he was like that too.

oh and Max...you want squishy, I am squishy. Ha. Over the past two years I've gained...70 pounds. -_- I only want to lose 50 of them though. but still.
