Why do you insist on calling soccer football when soccer clearly sounds better?

Because if we call football soccer, then American football, a sport where feet are hardly used on the ball, gets called "football," which makes no sense. 

Sure it does, you kick it sometimes. ^.^

Football in general is a boring name. You use your "foot" on the "ball"! Just doesn't sound very creative.

Besides, "soccer" was called football before American football even came into existence. Get off your high horse, America, and start calling "soccer" football and start using the metric system while you're at it. It's more efficient.

Yeah I don't really see that happening! But heres a question why all the hate for American football? And this from someone who played soccer as a kid and never played football.

We're just messing around, hence the  . I frankly don't care one way or the other about American football. If someone likes it, I won't have a problem until he/she nags at me incessantly to watch it. In fact, I don't watch any sports since it's more fun to play than it is to watch others play. I'm not a sideline kind of person.
