Yeah, Jazz, she gets a bunch of sweetness (and artistic ability!) from her mother, who I have as a Facebook friend. Honestly, one of the sweetest messages I've gotten from anyone was from that family, they're just amazing. They just try to be another family, from what I can tell, but one with a cause to fight for, kind of like how you see some families do so with, for example, autism. Jazz herself seems extremely well-adjusted, in life, thankfully, just hope her teenage years go well, never know how the minds of others will change during high school.
But GOP isn't making any laws to stop her; in fact, if you've seen her latest 20/20 appearance, laws have increased (notably on her soccer team) for her protection. Where they live isn't totally progressive, either. I'd like to know more on what you mean, she seems to very well treated at school; I've never heard that she's gotten bullied. (I have heard exclusion, but she's fought that back and won, but that can't be placed only on the GOP; see also, Clinton, DOMA.)
