My life is currently procrastination and music with a helping of dysphoria on the side.

Wondering WHY my sons dad just had to give him a name with 9 letters in it! I've been trying to teach him to write it for the past 5 months. Without fail he always leaves the same letter out! I'm thinking it may be easier just to change the spelling of his name:)! It will save me a big headache.

He's pretty young still, be patient mommy!  :)

I can tell my father is secretly pushing for me to just rather take money from him for my birthday instead of going out to eat.  He always does that.

Good for you! Just remember, most of those people are probably people you don't know and will never see again. Even if you do see them again, they likely won't remember you.  :P

:D  That's the idea!  And it's helped me to sign back on while waiting for my connecting flight.  I'm going to try to avoid looking here when I'm working in an auditorium full of people I know and will see again (I suppose they'll have to find out sooner or later, but I would prefer later :P).

Uh-oh watch out for the TG police!  :icon_suspicious: :police: ;D

Will they bring me food?  Otherwise I'm just going to go to the first restaurant I find in LAX.

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Sounds like the better plan!  :)

The clock may say 2:30, but my stomach says it's 5:30!

Definitely time to go back to school/work. When I have nothing to do, the crazies start to settle in.

I had the funniest exchange today with some guy at a pool hall.

Him - "Soccer sucks."
Me - "You only say that because your team sucks. Let me call Ghana and have them teach you another lesson."

We were in a Hispanic neighborhood, so needless to say, a lot of soccer fans were present and they laughed so hard!

Hmmmm I sense that there is trouble in River City Diana, hope you don't take after your Auntie Shan who bounced off a lot of hardwood floors for being smart when she was young and impetuous like someone we know.

People actually PLAY Rick Astley's "Never gonna give you up"?!?!  Or maybe airport restaurants are just weird...

Apparently I can read more French than I originally thought. o.o I was able to make out most of the posts in this one blog.  I'm proud of myself. xD  I haven't taken French in 7 years or so. >.>

She's talking soccer and that begins with an S which doesn't rhyme with T.

I liked that movie.

As I recall I was in a nice middle class neighborhood tavern at the time, there were beer muscles and then there was my foot shaped mouth, all the elements of a perfect storm. Thankfully I graduated from that lesson plan and have long since moved on. Advice and experiences both good and bad is what we older people share for the the sake younger folks here. I can cheerfully admit that I tried to crack that piece of granite with my head and it hurts, so honey you needn't repeat that exercise as we already know the outcome.

Well, alright, but it was an early Sunday afternoon and everyone laughed, so I don't think feelings were hurt.

Guess you knew your audience which is always smart if you're going to say something that might be taken wrong by someone. BTW Like you new dress, what kind of bike is that in the corner of your room?

There were two bikes: one's my mountain bike and the other is my racing road bike.

A racing road bike! That is so awesome.  I'm always afraid I'm going to get hit by cars if I ride on streets.  You must be quite the biker Diana....do we see a tour de france in your future:) ?
