Same here... Makeup got boring to me really fast. My nails are super fragile so painting them is pointless. As for underwear brand... whatever's cheap and holds up the muffins.

All my nails break easily too, hence no nail varnish as varnish draws attention to really short nails. Wear pressons or acrylics? Only once during transition 16 years ago when experimenting with styles. Very impractical. I rarely see other women wear them. I can't remember the names of any of my makeup. Maybe, L'Oreal or something like that. I like good quality cheap stuff. Most of my underwear is unbranded.

I have not real brand loyality when it comes to makeup...

Nails, - I keep my nails long, but not too long.. I paint them,, Love red, blue or french manicure. I keep my hand and toe nails painted most of the time.

bra's.. I wear what is comfortable, i like a push up bra, as it makes my girls looks so sexy... For christmas I bought myself a wonder-bra... It now my favourite Bra.

Panties... Bikini panties and thongs .. Being pre-op does limit my thong choice, but I do get that fit me comfortably. I actually love wearing thongs and wear them now most days. I love feeling them when i bend over.

Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

My nails became super fragile the one on my right index finger split vertically and continued to do so and they all became paper thin from being on HRT which depletes calcium rapidly. I started taking 800 mg of calcium citrate in the petite sized pills from Rite Aid, the others were like horse pills and I nearly choked to death on them. It has to be calcium CITRATE the other type can cause kidney stones. Within a month's time my nails became thick and tough like they should be and no longer split.

And I get kidney stones too. Thanks so much Shantel!

As far as places to order from...this is one of the most depressing catalogs of the year, lol

  SO many cute things! there are a few sun dresses and beach cover-ups I wouldnt mind gettin though.

Granted, not even many cis girls can look like this or get away with wearing the swim wear in this issue so I dont feel to awful bad ;)

Saw that and all those girls all look 12 and are heavily air brushed and photo shopped, so I wouldn't get any depression over that Michelle!

I know Shan ;)

My 29yo pixie of a daughter can wear all those as well as give those models a bit of competition though...;)

I've tried a lot of different bras but I find that my choices are limited because I wear a 44B. I'm thick through the chest unlike some of you petite little cuties. It turns out that Rhonda Shear's Aah Bras with underwire work just great for my body type, I also like their cutie racerback. The underwire bras really make a girlie statement, and for just banging around the racerbacks are comfortable for all day wear. Gee this reads like a commercial!  ;D

34B fits me perfectly :)

My tall busty Nordic spouse let me try on some of her various bras and we ended up using her expertise to get the right size for me...she has been more than helpful with a lot of this!

I'm a 36b right now and the bras that I like are Calvin Klein for the fancier stuff and Fruit Of The Loom for everyday.

Hi Girls;
Well for me, I use a mixture of different makeup, although for Mascara & Eyeshadow I use Dior Extase or Dior Show. Its the very best Mascara. I like the Dior colour palettes . For Foundation and Bronzer I use Maybelline. I prefer to put my foundation on using a sponge to get good coverage.  For Lipsticks, Blusher, Eyeliner, Lip pencil and Powder I use Estee Lauder. I also use a Brush  for putting on lipstick, once the lipliner is used.  But the very best lip gloss is Bobbie Brown.

For my nails - there is only one choice - OPI - Thats what both my beauticians use.

For Bras, I am unfortunately a 42B (A broad back) so I am a bit limited in my choices;
But these all are great choices:-

I was recently fitted for a proper bra and was found to need size 42B or 42C (growing into it). My fitter recommended Playtex Bras and I bought one of the following. She recommended the Underwire ones as this helps support our budding breasts;

or:
http://www.playtex.com.au/Playtex-Bras/Playtex-Secrets/Balconette-Underwire.aspx

I ended up buying:
http://www.playtex.com.au/Playtex-Bras/Playtex-18-Hour/Cross-Your-Heart.aspx
I have found it really supports all the breast tissue including that in the armpit and really lifts and seperates my breasts giving me a nice cleavage

I also have a really nice sexy Set of an Bra & Panties design Panache Tango II Balconnette Bra and Panties:
http://www.bravalingerie.com.au/lingerieitem/panache-tango-II-bra-nude_item.html (I have this in a 42D Cup, but its OK with my breast inform insets with my B Cup Breasts.

I have them in Nude , White & Black colours

Hugs

Make-up: My skin became very sensitive after starting hormones and doing laser and electrolysis. I found the only make-up my face would tolerate is Bare Minerals. It is a little pricey, but I love their products and they last all day and there is not that "caked on feeling." I also use a daily moisturizer on my face, Neutragena with 15 SPF, and Retin A on my nose to reduce the size of my pores at bedtime, and then also Neutragena nighttime anti-wrinkle cream at bedtime. I have learned to never let my face go unmoisturized.
Nails: Rimmel for my fingers, typically something cheaper (Covergirl or whatever is on sale) for my toes in the winter and Rimmel in the summer for the beach and sandals. I also take Biotin and Vitamin D and swear they cause my nails to be stronger and grow quicker.
Bras: My favorite brand is Maidenform, which fit me perfectly. I am a size 34B, leaning on 34C. I also own a few Victorias Secret bras, one from GAP Body (I really like), and a few from Aerie. For working out I wear a sports bra from Title Nine.
Underwear: I usually wear Victorias Secret cotton collection bikinis or hip huggers (size small). I wear Hanes boy shorts for my workouts/exercising.

For makeup I typically use a cheap but good quality. Just stuff you find at a local store, not those glitzy boutiques. I keep my nails on the short side since I have specific hobbies that would damage longer nails but I love to have a red polish on. I like using china glaze: long kiss. Bras I usually wear pushups and nothing too fancy. Underwear is typically bikinis or hipster. Nothing really fancy unless I'm going out somewhere nice with someone I fancy.
Watching the birds made me feel like taking a journey. The people, the landscapes, everything was imperfect but beautiful.

My order from SOMA.com showed up! After seeing Victorias Secret quality go down hill over the last year and their prices go up I decided to find another place to shop.

I like the way SOMA styles fit me, and their selection is a bit more  "grown up"  ;)

Big sale! 7 pair for $35, savings of $71!

Those are cute, Michelle. Thanks for the tip about SOMA. I've not been pleased with the quality of VS for some time either, it'll be nice to try another store.

Take Botin if your not already. It promotes healthy nails, and hair.
I've been taking Biotin for a few weeks now, it does seem to be making my hair thicker (my hair is still pretty short though), but I've heard it makes hair grow faster but I don't know how true that is.  I've been taking 7500 MCG, but I've heard others say 500 is better and others say 15000 is better. I think I read somewhere any excess you take is water soluble in the body and your body will get rid of it with out trouble. How many MCG are you taking?

I'm pre-HRT so I don't wear much make up but I'm fanatical about cleansing and moisturizing. I just bought the Olay Pro X Brush and Advanced Cleansing System and I love love love it. I don't think my face has ever felt or looked so clean. The brush is waterproof so you can use it in the shower and it doesn't have to be used just for exfoliating. There's two speeds and the one speed is perfect for everyday cleansing. After I use Olay's anti-age defying 2 in 1 day cream and serum and just a smidgen is all you need to make your face feel super smooth. I can't wait til I start HRT next week. I can't imagine how smooth my face is going to be!!!

Aren't they just the best? My spouse bought one and I just had to have one, my twelve year old granddaughter liked mine so much and had to have it, then her mom was jealous and wanted one so I got her one. I still don't have one for myself! : (
