"Most of Dr Suporn's patients say that after about a year after the operation, their total natural vaginal lubrication is sufficient to enjoy normal sex without the need for any artificial lubricant" This is what Suporn said in an email correspondence

Is it true? people please share your experiences. thank you

Well that would be awesome if really true!

I realize that the question was specifically about Suporn, but just so people know, lubrication happens with other surgeons also. I went to Brassard, and I lubricate very nicely. Also have sex dreams, and orgasms. Very, very satisfied.

Wow. I wonder if I will be able to self lubricate at 12-18 months

I don't see why not. I'm self-lubricating at 5 months.

  •

Tristan

That's awesome. I guess I will find out. I wonder if that's a trademark of those two surgeons or if that's with most surgeons. I should email mine

My impression is that the wetness comes from the urethra, via the same process that creates the "pre-cum" lubrication in men. I'm pretty sure this comes from the prostate, which of course is still present. I only experience it when sexually aroused, which means I use lube when I dilate (nothing much sexy about dilation).

Bella and Colleen thank you for taking the time to answer this with such detail. its hard to really ask these questions and your really helping us out. srs research thank you for asking this question. i am just really starting to learn and discover my sexual side so finding this stuff out now is good.

(For what it's worth, at 8 months post-op with Brassard, we discovered recently that my wife produces quite a bit more lubrication than I do. I'm slightly jealous! Like others have said, no idea where/how it's being supplied, but she's been self-lubricating since about 3 months and by now it's more than adequate. I also met one other woman at the residence with us at the time who was stealth, and has since mentioned on another board that she's self-lubricating enough that her now-boyfriend never figured out why she was in Montreal.)

I would be very doubtful.  Lots of postop girls, unless Colovaginoplasty customers, need lube for sex.  yes, there may be *some* moistness or even slight wetness.  But I doubt highly from what ive seen and heard that it'll be comparable to a genetic female.  However, of course, many genetic females need lube too.

8 months further on, I can report that when sexually aroused, I lubricate copiously.  To the point that a female lover said, "No ->-bleeped-<- you lubricate!"  Lol.  In fact, I don't even need much foreplay, I lubricate at the first sign of sexual activity.  Not long ago, my boyfriend made love to me just before we went to sleep.  The light was off, and he spent a few minutes kissing me, and fondling me, but very quickly got on top and entered me.  I was ready.  He needed no help, and I needed no lube.  I have never needed lube for intercourse.  Often, in fact, I leave a large wet spot on the sheets.

My surgery was with Brassard.  I have no information as to whether my experience is the norm or not, but I do in fact lubricate, and never need extra lube for sex.

I am a very very satisfied Suporn gal, but I must say, I haven't noticed much self-lubrication a year on...nor was I promised any. I can't physiologically imagine where / how it would occur, in fact. The scrotal skin graft neovagina does not change into mucosal tissue (they are not stem cells after all), so whatever 'precum' style lube from the urethra would be in the same amount, ie slight moistness and nowhere near enough for intercourse with a normal sized partner. I was leaving a wet patch on my sleeping pads for a few months after surgery too, but that was because of slight incontinence related to a lengthy catheterization, hardly the sexiest thing in the world. Since that resolved, and I don't dilate but once a week at most, lube is needed. I would NOT count on being able to self lubricate, and if by some miracle you can, be very pleasantly surprised!  ;)
Blessings,

D

If Suporn uses the urethral mucosa tissue either in the vaginal construction or in the labial construction, which I do not know, then there is some chance of OK to fair lubrication happening. I was not a Suporn girl, but this tissue was used in my labia minora, and I do have enough self lube to do a tame dilation with a little foreplay, but I would not want Paul Bunyan with a four ply rubber on to try it.  I have done it twice, but still like a two inch line of gel to help it out.

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

Lmao@,paul buyan. But to add to the discussion I self lubricate though not a patient of suporn and understanding how odd and rare it is I am very thankful non the less. In fact if I wear a daily pantyliner because of it.  And I am at about 8 months post now.
