I've been on low dose T for close to three months already, now, and I've been having some really bad back pain lately. I've been working on my posture, rearranging how I sleep (no pillow v. one pillow v. my usual [flat] three), making sure I walk more comfortably, but I'm still having some pain in my back and knees. My doctor told me that I would go through what's basically menopause during my transition, and I've a feeling that's what is causing my pain.

Has anyone else had this sort of experience, and what can I do to lessen the aches?

Hmm.  I've had some back pain.  I can't really even remember at this point if it existed pre-t...  Some of it certainly didn't (I wrecked myself and herniated two disks a little less than two years ago).

What really kills me is a terrible muscle knot in my shoulder that I don't remember ever occurring pre-t. (its so bad that I'm planning on trying to get some physical therapy for it in the coming months [trying to sort out finding health insurance at the moment] because I think its actually starting to effect my personality being in a state of constant discomfort.  Then again, I can't really blame it on the T directly because I can't actually remember when the pain started, and there are some other potential causes that (in my opinion) are more likely culprits.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
