I wish I could figure out why my self esteem, low as it usually is, simply got up and left on vacation these past couple of days.

I may be a little slow, but isn't low self esteem going on vacation mean that it's high now?

I fly home today!  And just when I was getting used to mid-60s and sunny every day...

No, it means it got up, gave me a dirty look and slammed the door on the way out, leaving me with no self esteem at all.

Does anyone know of any support groups for parents of trans* people?  I think my mom needs one, and one that is hopefully positive and will help her realize I'm still the same person.

I'm sorry that happened. If you'd like I can stick my Marine foot in its ass and get it up for you :-*

I need to work on my time management skills. I was running earlier than I normally do so I decide to do a little shopping well I spent over an hour shopping. Now I'm totally running late to the gym.

As far as I know, PFLAG includes trans people and friends and family of trans people (at least, it does officially in Canada).

I found that, at least in the US, officially doesn't mean a lot when it comes to the individuals running the chapters though. I'm sure some are great, but even gay people and their supporters can have issues with trans people.

I almost freaked out when my little guy lost his baby teeth, I thought something was wrong with him as I didn't know dogs had baby teeth like that until I looked it up. I still have a couple of them too.

I'm thinking, as a result of reading the last series of posts made by Keaira and I, that I am really lucky to have her friendship. Sometimes, I rant and rave and yell over some not-so-important stuff. ESPECIALLY a day or two before a T shot, although I am getting better. And sure, she can have a laugh at it when it's silly, or maybe tell me I'm being whiny. :P I know it can really "grind her gears" :P But she never does that while I'm talking. She always sits there and listens to me and lets me finish. And she makes sure I'm OK before she has a laugh or jab at my expense, and lets me get it out before she gives the tough love. I appreciate it, because honestly, I don't know if I'd ever listen to myself. :|

She's a really good friend and a really good person. Which is why I am making an effort to be more mature and in control of the crappiness I feel before a shot.

The local PFLAG chapter has a transwoman in it. :3  But that's all I really know.

In regards to puppy teeth...I didn't realize dogs lost theirs until my sister found three of Harley's and gave them to me. :3  I still have them.

It turns out I'm also "in tune" with my dog.  I can hear whining downstairs when my dad is getting snacks for the dogs, but apparently the whining is really low and he says he can barely hear her. o.o But I can hear her all the way in my bedroom.
