Thanks to a kick in the butt from someone who is rapidly becoming a very, very dear friend, I came out to my HR rep at work today.

Its as though I'm actually transitioning!  I'll be full-time in no time.

=^.^=

and that news has kept my day on the good side of meh ;)

I love how a person can cut almost everything to pieces in Metal Gear Rising, but there's cat in the game that apparently can't be sliced up no matter how hard you try.  I respect the developers for doing that.  I have no problems cutting up pixalized bad guys but I don't have it in me to slice up a pixalized cat.  Heck I had a problem hunting and killing the panthers and tigers in Far Cry 3....as well as the other animals and they were attacking ME!  I just don't have it in me.  Now pixalized bad guys and even pixalized civilians at times, yes, but pixalized animals....no.

Ever look back and think, "Crap. I've known longer than I thought, but was so far in the closet I was tripping over Cair Paravel?" A lot of things make sense now at least.

I realized it a week ago. That's why I came out so hard in my mind. It's not every day that your family finds out your out of the closet not long after you come out yourself.

Nope. :P  I never behaved in a stereotypical male or female fashion as a kid.  I just did what ever wanted including wrestling my best friend (male), playing horses with my sister, cooking in an Easy Bake Oven, playing with wrestler action figures, etc.  I also dressed fairly tom-boy-ish so there was no real indication outwardly of anything going and inwardly I just never cared to think about it since I had more important things going on in my life. >.>

I always gain 5 pounds when I travel :(
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

I started off the week eating salads, and finished off the week with pizza and pasta.  I'll add "willpower" to my self-improvement list :P

I went to New Orleans for a month and gained 10 lbs. Had to try all the Cajun foods. Later a friendly black customer insisted I go to a soul food restaurant with him, then later I discovered french fried sweet potatoes. (burp...oh excuse me!)

So true, but the deep fat fried foods so familiar to the south is loaded with fat and calories. My metabolism doesn't need any extra help there, seems like I manufacture plenty on my own even with a low-fat lean diet. Of course HRT is a contributing factor!
