This is the second part to my Searching for Superman poem, jeez i sound like i have a superman fetish....but i don't know i just always saw Superman as the classic hero and Lois Lane as the classic damsel in distress, like the saying goes "can't go wrong with the classics".

Waiting for Superman

Would you come and save me Superman
Lois Lane is waiting for you
strong but lonely and trying to keep sane

I'm holding out for a hero
the one that can sweep me off my feet
and meet me and bring me to the beautiful night sky

Superman, Louis Lane is waiting for you
don't you know how much i need you
please heed these words, save me

I'll love you forever if you just save me
i could be everything you've ever wanted
a home and a wife, this is the life

Husband and wife, forever more
waiting patiently to the core
so my Superman will save me

Nice poem Donna! Would you consider Mighty Mouse? "Here I come to save the day, Might Mouse is on the way" That's me of course, when asked are you a man or a mouse, I went EEK-EEK-EEK!
