So as you can tell from my ticker i'm a little over a week into my 5 months mark for HRT. I've always been a skinny person and i'm not use to having too much extra fat. Lately I've noticed a lot of fat piling around my hips and i'm wondering if this if female pattern or I am just becoming a chubby for the first time. I've also noticed my butt has gotten plumper  :P

Ignore the ugliness, it's my I just woke up on my off day and don't give a crap look  ;)

"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

It definitely looks like you are starting to take on a feminine shape.

If it's on the hips, it's female. If it's on the waist, it's male.

Can't be positive, but this looks quite female at a first glance.

And I just have to say I'm jealous, as someone born fat.

And your face looks very girly, btw :)

It does? I know it looks young but I still look male to me  :-\

Nope, I agree with Sammy. Your face does look very feminine. It's probably just because you're looking for masculine things. I have a fairly naturally feminine looking face, and some days I only see "male".

Yes my belly has been the same but my various sides have begun to bulge  :P

As for my hair, thanks! It kinda just does that on its own when I brush it.

I would definitely say from that photo that your getting more shapely! Congrats!
I've always been overweight and cant help but worry that when I start hormones I will balloon out, but I'm getting into real good habits now and making exercise one of the most important things in my day so hopefully I will be able to hold it.
You have a very feminine face too, very nice! I wish I had hair like yours, my hair is curly and thick, I straightened it once when it was a bit over halfway to my shoulders and it bounced back to curly within 2 hours! I'm cursed! hahahaha
But YOU are looking great!

My face has definitely changed. I looked back an old photo of me and compared.

This is me about 9 months ago right before coming out

This is me 5 seconds ago  ;D

ah the miracles of hormones

I think I've lost hip size :/, like 0.5", still the same weight (I think), but I've also lost some on my arms I think. No increase in bust size... so the places the missing fat could've gone to are quite limited -.-
Not sure if I had a more feminine fat distribution pre-HRT... starting to seem like it.

give it time. the great pilgrimage of fat cells has only begun.

it's a mysterious pilgrimage. kind of like how the hebrews somehow got lost for 40 years because god gave them commandments instead of directions.

muuu, the way we measure hips is a circumference around hips and butt. Losing some there might just mean you've lost some butt, presumably muscle.

Maidoforleans, as a pre-t ftm, we both have the exact same hip shape, so it def seems like fat redistribution to me.  :)
