Oh we have the humidity in spades. The weather pattern in the land of the goddess has gone nuts.!

Very funny.  Currently 37C at 22% humidity.  Dry as a bone.

I love it when I'm in Adelaide and people say "It's so humid today"

I say "Where?".

You are just hardened, and of course had the brain removal on transplanting to the North. Tassies are the same.

You coming down in the near future?

Ha ha.  I did lose my brain for a bit, but found it again.

I'll be there in June for a few days.  Taking the scenic route though.  Via the UK.

Cindy

Oh nice.

Remember the ear muffs and thermal knickers for the UK.

Holiday or business?

AusBelle

Holiday. Also doing Scotland and Ireland.

Am a bit concerned about how cold it'll be.  It'll be spring there but it's still colder than our winter.  Brrrrrr.

0 C = 32 F
10 C = 50 F
15 C = 59 F
20 C = 68 F
25 C = 77 F
30 C = 86 F
35 C = 95 F
40 C = 104 F
45 C = 113 F
50 C = 122 F

Americans, learn metric.
Aussies, please turn your laptops upside down to read properly

Last I heard the Scots think it's a heat wave when it snows. Hope no one with a Scottish background is reading this. Good thing my posts are anonymous.

That's why they invented whiskey though.  I'll be sampling a lot of that.

My next door neighbours were from Scotland. Lovely people. I never understood a single word that she said, I sort of understood him. But she was very very nice and chatty and I never even understood what her name was. I just use to smile and nod sometimes for 15 mins.

They went back to Scotland because they thought Aussies were unfriendly.

I think no one understood them. ::)

Mere semantics  :police:

Still tastes the same though.  Although Irish Whiskey/ies are sweeter.

Understandable.  Pity they didn't come with subtitles.

A lot of our software at work was developed by a Scottish company.  We still can't understand it.

So pleased that you are looking out for Cindy! This is all great advice, I just have one question. When selecting a mister, does size really matter?

In answer to your question, I guess so. She has de-mister in de-car

Dear lord girl!! Is your GPS broken or is the Hume Hwy blocked again?

I'm certainly not sending you down the street for a bottle of milk, it'd be yoghurt by the time you got back

Nah, you've got nothing to worry about. Just last week our media was in a flat panic about a sudden 'heatwave' when our temperatures rocketed to a 'scorching' 13 degrees.

Just pack a swimming cozzie & some sunglasses, you'll be fine.  ;D

That having been said, we're currently suffering from a weather front nicknamed the 'Beast from the East' which is (allegedly) giving us colder temperatures than Alaska. Let's see... today, Anchorage has a 'high' of 1.6 degrees; our 'high' is 3 degrees.

So... not 'colder than Alaska' then.

Cindy's next door neighbor!  Who would have known?!  LOL.  I'll help you with your Scots, anytime.

Lesson (1) - identify your favorite single malt.  We'll go from there.
