I guess this only applies to those who are now living full time, or at least enough time to have to use the bathroom while out and about. Have you ever gone into a bathroom and had a fellow girl actually approach you and ask if you had a pad or something? I guess it wouldn't have to be in just a bathroom, but has another girl ever asked you for something like this?

I ask because I read this article on Girl Code and how its an unwritten code that girls develope as soon as they menstruate. It basically involves helping a girl out no matter what.

It hasn't happened to me, but I know my spouse has given her mini pad to others in the restroom, once while I was in there too.  It never hurts to keep a safety pad hidden in one of the pockets of your purse.

That's good to know...never thought of that "event" before, but yeah nearly every woman under the age of 45ish must deal with Aunt Flo...

Hmm... Haven't. Though since the third time when I was told by a man I had the wrong bathroom, I'm always at the women's if there's no unisex bathroom... assuming it's not too full (or so full I wouldn't be noticed). In which case I avoid the bathroom altogether.

Honestly, not having socially transitionned yet and having zero self-confidence, I've been pretty much fleeing enough to make such an occurrence pretty much a miracle.

Here's an interesting twist...
Would you ask another girl in the bathroom for a pad or liner? Maybe youre having light vaginal discharge or maybe you just want to try this. Would you do it? I think I would...

I'd have better luck in the women's room asking, "Pardon me, but do you have any Grey Poupon?" Before the  showed up. I would be so far out of my element kind of like being in the women's intimates department looking at bras for women with double D's when I just barely make a B...

I can't recall ever having this happen in my decades of ladies' room use. I have been asked to pass toilet paper under the stall though. Perhaps female friends may ask (don't know; never really had any), but I think it's pretty rare among strangers. A woman would probably only ask this if she had an 'accident'. That doesn't mean it might not be nice to carry around just for the hell of it in case. I would stick to pads instead of tampons though. Sometimes women use 'light flow' pads or panty liners when they're not menstruating for discharge. It would seem less odd for a woman who doesn't menstruate to have in her purse. Hmm Wonder if post-op women experience discharge?

Nope... but I don't use public restrooms often. I may have gone in the womens room like 3 times in my whole life. But even if I did I wouldn't carry one and would probably say "No, sorry!" .. that's it, that's all I have lol.

Never been asked this in my 3 months of full time would be useful though just to have one in my purse just for a special scenario like this. I wish I could get the red tide once a month I tell my girlfriends that and they are always like no you don't I'm like YES I do. Lol

That's one of the biggest sources of resentment cis women have about trans women besides invading their domain, that you don't have to go through what they have to endure every month.

Yes, those lucky trans girls. All they have have to deal with is electrolysis, laser, GRS, and augmentation surgery. Oh, and FFS. Yep, we don't suffer nearly enough.

My lovely spouse likes to tease me about not having that wonderful monthly experience as well

All I know is I love how much cleaner and nice smelling the ladies restroom is.  Seriously though the most interaction I have gotten is washing my hands next to someone.

While its not my thing to have tampons on me, it might be good to carry some in case they ask :3 that way you dont have to speak in case yo don't feel comfy.

I get nervous around other woman because its ingrained in me that im going to jail for using it.
