Did they give you any real reason why they fired you? Or just some made up BS. My advice would be very, very careful and plan things out. Go to your local re-employment office and they should be able to assist you. Just tell them your situation and they should be more than will to help. I used to work at one and my job was to help veterans get back to work. Those that succeeded, are those who actually tried and took the advice given. And believe it or not, those who were obviously milking the unemployment system and were coming in just for the "check box", never found work. Moral of the story is all you need to do is try, not do anything too hasty that you might regret, and the rest will fall into place. Best of luck to you.
