HRT is a-maz-ing and I LOVE IT

Changes are really starting to take off, and I am a ball of excitement!

Truly amazed at how soft my skin is now all over my body. I was about to take a shower and was seriously taken back when I felt the new softness on my legs. I mean I knew this was bound to happen eventually, but I'm just so happy to see it working!! I can literally feel myself changing over to the other side one small step at a time, and it's not just some placebo effect.

Sorry for the status update-like post, I am just too elated not to get this out! :icon_blahblah:

What differences did you ladies see around the 3-4 month mark?

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend :D

Me too!  I shaved my legs for the first time in a long time, and was struck by how soft everything had gotten. And that now when the hair grows back it isn't sandpaper but is nice and soft still. :)

Hey cool, we started HRT at very similar times :D

I hope you're happy with your progress!

I just hit the 3 months too! The biggest change for me has been my breast I'm having to learn how to adjust to them. I had plenty of other changes too and I couldn't be more trilled my results so far. ;D

3 month HRT butterfly ticker club! Cheers!

Yeah having breasts is taking some getting used to, but it's a welcome adjustment! I am always having to adjust my tank tops so the bra doesn't show. Is that normal for the tank top to always come down in the front like that?! Rargh!

Well I wish I looked as good as both of you!  I'm too old to get the really good changes apparently :P

At 3-4 months I had quite a bit of muscle loss, softer skin, feminine thighs, maybe a little bit of fat redistribution but not a whole lot. All of the effects were nothing compared to where I'm at now.

I doubt that! I bet you end up looking quite stunning.

Ain't that the truth! Stuff I use to lift easily have now become really heavy to me.

what kind of muscle loss are we talking here? I'm just curious how useless I might become at taking in 10 bags of groceries at a time.

I've lost 30% of upper body strength, I can measure it as I still work out in the gym. My legs haven't lost much, but arms and shoulders heaps.

It is a bit of a wake up call becuse I do grab something or do something I used to be able to and can hurt myself.

Oh and remember when girls would come up and ask for you to open something? Get use to it I have to do the same now.

I've definitely lost huge amounts of muscle mass. I had very little fat on my body starting HRT and I've lost 18-20lbs in 3 months. It's gotta be muscle mass.

Everything from my arms, to my chest, and neck.. it all looks completely different to me now. I do get tired out a lot easier lifting stuff repetitively- I started noticing it around the 1 month mark.. But now, the muscle actually seems to be going away! Good riddance, man arms. Hello slender, girly arms with soft skin... Yes please!

Now I really don't wanna wait to start hrt! I hate having to hide in layers to obscure my masculine build.

I can't imagine losing more muscle mass cause I never really had it in the first place. I tried to build it up, but was never able to. I'm not even on hrt yet and I had to use a pair of vice grips last week to open a bottle of soda, but hey at least I know what vice grips are to know I can use them for that. I can't wait to feel the excitement of the rest though. Congrats.

I'm 135 lbs and I used to be able to swing around 20 lbs over my head with 1 hand... now I have trouble even getting 20 lbs off the ground with 1 hand.

When I was 3-4 months in, I could sit and caress myself all over, and revel in the sensation...:)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Places to watch for ...

You are likely going to lose muscle mass in your deltoids (upper back), and to a lesser degree, your pecs (chest), so it will seem your chest measurement is getting smaller.

Jenny says she may come my way to visit relatives eventually, I'll be sure and check out her pecs at that time and let you know!  :icon_peace:

It's true :D

I'm not really sure about the pecks, I think they are going down, but I've had quite a lot of boob growth (as far as what I was expecting given my genes) and it is kind of hard to tell.

Early on after starting HRT, I took the recommendation of someone here and started twice daily circular breast massages. I am wearing a 36B from VS's pink collection now ;) the bras from that particular line do tend to run a bit smaller because it's for younger girls but I'm definitely easily filling out an A and I feel that a B from their regular line is coming up soon on the horizon.
