In roughly 2 weeks, I am going to be taking the MPRE, which is this test you need to take and get a certain score before you're allowed to take a bar exam, so they're pretty crazy on being really strict about things.
So, I need to bring my photo ID, as well as affix a passport photo of myself to my admissions ticket (which I am going to have to get taken this weekend). The requirement for your government issued photo ID is that it needs to not be expired and the photo must be "recent" and "recognizable". My ID is current, and I only got it about a year and a half ago, but since then I've chopped my hair off and generally got much uglier. I was at a casino not too long ago and had to show my ID, and the lady did a double take and I had to say "yeah, I cut my hair" and then she let me in.
Just wanted to know if anyone here has been denied entrance to anything because they weren't recognizable from their photo ID? I am not on T, so it's not like my face looks that much different. I'd just hate it if they send me away just because I look a bit different than I did a year and a half ago (and loose out on my test fee I already paid), and I really don't have the time to go to the DMV and get another drivers license.
Do I look "recent" and "recognizable" to you?
