I was on it for a few months until I met my now-partner on there. We've been together for a year and a half now :) I disclosed my trans status in my profile. I know some guys don't feel comfortable with this, but it worked for me. Most of the people who messages me were fine with dating a trans guy, and I didn't have to worry about when the right time to come out was. I went on a few dates with people from the site, and while they didn't work out romantically, they went fine. I would definitely say give it a try, especially if you are more introverted like I am. It can be easier to form a connection and get to know someone online before you actually meet in person. Good luck man!

I met my current girlfriend on okcupid. We've been together for 10 months. We're doing really well. I did not disclose my trans status, but was up front with it right away. I'd give it a try. There's jerks everywhere and okcupid isn't different, but there are good people out there.

I'm on okcupid. For some reason it keeps setting me up with other trans guys.

Edit to add: I've been on okc for 4 years and have been on one date from that site.

I been there but it wasn't anything special for me, mostly I just enjoyed making quizzes.

Thanks guys. I hate the quizzes things I see me ex doing cause she's on that site but Ids as cis femme.

I guess with everything everyone has different experiences, so I appreciate your input.

I am v. Introverted so I will think more on it and go from there. Did you put ur gender as male? Is there an option of not disclosing and just saying what you are into? Like queer?

I was on OKCupid for a short time and got scared off by creepy ->-bleeped-<-s.

I met my current boyfriend on OKCupid.  I disclosed my Trans status in my profile so he aleady knew when he messages me.  One of his FTM friends had just gone in for Bottom surgery and I showed up on his newsfeed and he just flet compelled to say hi...and the rest is history haha.  I actually just had top surgery yesterday and he was there for surgery (we've only been together since the end of Janury) and he actually took through next Friday off to help take care of me.  He's completely supportive and truly an amazing guy; I'm incredibly lucky. :)

Good luck Man!

Yes, I just put my gender as male and wrote a sentence or two about being trans in the text of my profile. I'm pretty sure orientation is listed something like "guy or girl looking for men/women/everyone for dating/friends/activity partners/etc" And you choose whatever applies to you. Then at the top of your profile where it gives stats it's something like 22/M/gay/state, country. Hope this helps! Good luck man!

I originally wrote I was trans in my profile but I removed it. I figure people who are cool with trans people should have a high match percentage. Neither really did much.

I'm MTF, but about 18 months ago I posted a profile that disclosed that while I was currently presenting as a guy, I intended to transition from male to female. My current girlfriend replied, we got together, and I've never been happier than I am now :)

I tried it, found nothing after being on there for months. I ended up just deleting my profile. My only matches were the exact opposites in most aspects of people I would be interested in building a relationship with. I met my current partner without the help of any dating sites.
