Hi Keaira, thank you.
I also feel too muscular still, I think a lot of us will always fight those feelings.
I don't do any upper body workouts any longer, not even high repetitions. I did high reps to get so big back in the 1980's. I was taking anabolic steroids back then, it's a huge regret I have now, but it is what it is. The number one thing that helped (besides stopping the steroids) was eating very low calories, muscle mass will definitely decline if the calories aren't consumed.
I'm considering a more vegetarian diet, I'm concerned about not having enough variety with that diet. I'm still working on reducing muscle. I have to be very careful, if I increase calories just a bit, the bulk tends to start coming back fairly quick.
OMG Kim, anabolics are kind of scary. I remember Lyle Alzado a NFL defensive end, he was huge, the steroids gave him his moment in the sun but he eventually wasted away as an unwanted side effect. Glad you got off them dear friend, you're looking good now lady! I found that I can lose weight keeping meat, fish and chicken intake to 5 oz., fresh veggies and fruit and water about 1100 calories a day and light exercise. Better to graze like five small meals rather than two or three stuffing sessions. Early man never had weight problems because they were hunter/gatherers and grazed as they moved from one place to another.
