Thanks you two.  My mother brought some goats milk to feed them and they currently are in a little basket with a warm water bottle.    She said that we should put them on the side porch in case the mother came back.  The thing was when I found them a yellow cat was near them and ran away.  I walked away so it could come back to it but it hasn't and the cat been sniffing for them.  We were under the impression that it was a male cat trying to attack the kittens (plus with three other strays around it may not be good).  But I'll put them back outside soon and see what happens.  It doesn't help that it's freezing and damp out there either. :/

I'm wishing it wasn't so cold and not being able to believe that I've not thought about suicide for 14 months exactly.

I'm thinking that the sun finally came out in rainy Seattle and I spent the entire day doing yard stuff, now to catch up on the extended family here at Susan's.

Your post reminded me a few months ago I took my kids and some of their friends to an large arcade that also had a glow in the dark laser tag section. The kids were waiting in line and I noticed the guy who was running the laser tag was letting these 'adults' go before the kids, it happened a second time. These grown ups looked pretty thuggish, but then what kind of person cuts in line in front of kids? So I go to the guy running the thing and ask what's up, my kids have been waiting for a while and you're letting these grown ups go instead. All I heard was blah blah blah, literally. I raised my hand to signal him to be quiet and said, let the kids in and give them triple time. He did.

I put the kittens on the porch.  They are cuddled in a basket sleeping.  I really hope their mother takes them.  Three cats just kind of looked at them and ran off.  Maybe they didn't want to disturb them....at least I hope that's the case.

I want a kitten!  But I think I should focus on transition stuff before I can allow myself to take care of another living creature.

My mother told me to bring the kittens in since no cat seemed to want to take them.  :/ 

I'm starting to get attched to them and that's not good.
