I've got a few questions for anybody else either than me living in San Francisco, the last time i asked this i got only one answer (thanks michelle g).

How trans friendly is Inner Sunset

and

Which are the trans friendly neighbourhoods in SF? I know Mission isn't one.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

For the money I'd still live in Sausalito.  They're everything friendly, and only a few minutes on a ferry boat to Market Street.

Anyway, I think the Haight is supposed to be o.k., but I haven't hung out in the city for quite a while.   And I'm confused, aren't you already living in SF?

Yes but i don't go out too much to really know, i mean so far i haven't gone too far off where i live and the people just kinda mind their own business.

QuoteAnyway, I think the Haight

So Haight's the only trans friendly place in SF? i thought SF is like supposed to be the most lgbt friendly place and stuff.

Hi sweetie :)

Honestly, as cute and attractive as you are I can't really think of many places in the city where you wouldn't be just fine....get out and explore :)  when I get caught up on work projects I will wander over and show you around, that will be fun!

Of course there are the areas that no unsuspecting person should be, like soma (south of market) ,the tenderloin, stadium area when no games are playing, and some others south of the city.

You really should wander over to the Haight, there are some fun shops to check out and a couple decent clothes places to buy, sell or trade stuff you don't wear anymore.

You would like  Crissy Field, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park of course is just down the street from you and is such a nice place to explore :)

The Haight is on most tourists must see list so expect to see annoying people from around the world pointing and commenting on buildings, people, and what they think might be leftover hippies ;) it's quite fun to sit and just "watch the watchers"

Michelle got it right, but in addition to the areas she said to avoid, I would also stay out of Bay View, Hunters Point, and some of the Portola areas.

The city is a fantastic place, and my sisters lived on Pacific near Van Ness for years.  Also had a brother who's house faced Golden Gate Park so it was fantastic for getting into peaceful surroundings and still living in a city.  In those days I loved the beaches, museums, gallaries, and of course going down to Union Street and stopping in all the live music bars.  But the bars moved on, and so did I.  The trendy places seem to be things like the DNA Lounge and other alternative clubs.

Have fun.

Hayes valley is nice and nobody will bother you at upper Fillmore. Union street is fine, anywhere really around the wharf and embarcadero is fine. You shouldn't have any problems, just avoid the seedier parts of town where anybody could get mugged.

Inner Sunset looked pretty darn safe last time I wandered around there, I will ask my daughter though, she lives in inner Richmond one block from GG park on 22nd
