I'm looking at freezing sperm before starting HRT.  Is there a good rule-of-thumb for how many deposits need to be made?  The yearly storage fee isn't too bad, but the initial cost is more than I was expecting, especially since blood-work is apparently only valid for a week.

The bank recommends 5 deposits, but I'm not sure I want to pay that much up front .
