It is increasingly looking like I might use jewellery as my means to slide into something better more comfortable in the way of early stages of transition.

Clothes are a lot harder to evolve into. The sizes never cooperate, and the stores never stock odd size needs. Every day I walk past this one store that sells nothing but lingerie and it just screams out 'meant for a 16 year old girl with an ideal shape'.

I mean, I'd love to shop for all the stuff under clothes as well, but it is not made for me and my shape.
It means learning to cope with totally different shopping styles and likely more online than not.

Meanwhile, the only real barrier to jewellery is 'you want how much for that?!!'.
I have seen a few items I want I can get, and of course a good range of things that will require a great deal fewer models being bought :) Avon seems to my favourite company. They make really cute stuff and it is neither gold nor silver and thus is also just a few bucks. Hey I do NOT mind my jewellery being worth only a few dollars eh, I just need it to look pretty. I'd rather buy 10 sets of pretty things for 100 bucks, instead of just one thing at 200.

And it is not hurting that I have a life time of catch up to do having never bought anything before. As much as I like my first necklace, I would like to have something different too.

Comically, I have found myself in need of a jewellery box. I suppose I can make myself one this time rather than for a niece.
Well being TG is no treat, but becoming separated has sure caused me more trouble that being TG ever will be. So if I post, consider it me trying to distract myself from being lonely, not my needing to discuss being TG. I don't want to be separated a lot more than not wanting to be male looking.
