I went to see the psychiatrist today. We talked loads, laughed and discussed future plans.
He said it would be perfectly alright for me to start HRT and will send a letter back to my doctor and a copy to me. I will also get a referral to a specialist centre soon-ish.
He is also going to send of a letter to the NHS to get funding for future appointments and possible treatments as well


I'm going to make another appointment with my doctor to see when she could arrange for a prescription when the letter comes through.

Congrats! I just got my letter on Tuesday and even though the specialist I'm booked with doesn't require one, I feel euphoric to know everything's going to start moving now. Good luck with your other appointment!
