Ok, so I live as a regular guy because I've been married, just separated and for the meantime I have a teenage son living with me.  When he's out, I dress of course and I'll spend my entire day as a female. I don't push it too much out in public because of course I'm not "out" and for the various other reasons.  Some are just personal at this point.

I've been thinking of getting my belly button pierced lately. I spoke with a guy via Craigslist that was wanting to trade piercing/tat work for an iPod Touch I had listed for sale. I asked him if guys usually got their belly buttons pierced and he laughed and said "not the straight ones", he didn't end up with the Touch nor will he end up getting my money either.

So, was he right?  What's y'alls opinion on this subject?

Kayla, I want one too. But I'm a big girl and I want to feel feminine everywhere I can.
Just another girl screaming to be herself.

Oh I'm a big girl too, a big boy most of the time. To me, it's one of the things that would help me feel more feminine and I think it would help push me to trim down more, I think.  I want to lose weight but I don't want to lose any of the boob (very little, haha) that I already have. Of course there are options to fix that as well do I guess maybe I should give that excuse a rest.

I wish I could gain some fat in my darn butt instead of in my belly. I'm also sick of clip on ear rings and I'm going to take the plunge to get my ears pierced soon, maybe this coming weekend. I want to wear hoops so badly...

I know I'll have to leave that belly ring in for awhile. And my son lives with me and I have a toddler that lives with me for joint custody visits. I'm scared of what might happen with that until it heals and I can remove it sometimes.

Wow, this is either a sore topic or a not of interest one.

I've considered it, but my belly button has not been a part of me that I would like to feature.

I do have my nose pierced, which is pretty unusual for a guy. I also have both ears pierced, which isn't as unusual, but it's not really that common. And 3 other piercings in my ears.

I'm definitely doing my ears but only one hole each for the time being. I'm seriously considering my belly button though but I feel like I'll get picked about at my job if anyone sees it before I'm ready. Stupid huh? I mostly want it for me though, seems like a good thing that'll help force me to lose weight.

If I had a vagina, I know what other piercing I'd get and I'm not big on piercings or tats, personally. However, and boy am I probably gonna catch it for this, I kinda like the tramp stamp myself and I think I'd want one if I had a good body for it...I don't now though.

I don't imagine there are any straight guys running around with a belly ring. But I'm not really one of those guys, not inside anyway and even then, I'm bi either way you slice me.

Me and my wife both have our bellies pierced. Both of us have it done twice, as it was something that we always wanted done. I went a step further and got both of my nipples done. To be honest, its not something besides her that will see them and its just something that does make me feel a bit more feminine, but that could be just me. I have 2 young girls and its an issue with them both grabbing for the shiny objects, but thats the only problem i have seen since getting them done.
I also have 5 piercings in my ears as well, but have had them since before I decided about transitioning.
I dunno... I was normal, throughout my life, until I turned 4 and realised that I shouldn't be called a he.

Well my biggest concern or fear is I live outside my house as a guy. I've not come out to anyone but my mom. I just fear that in the meantime at work, someone would see it and I'd have that to deal with before I was really ready. But I want one so bad. Probably just gonna do it and to hell with them.

The only person that knows about me is my wife at the moment. I am still early, to be telling others. I am still male outside of our house and will be prob for some time. I got them done and to be honest, I did them for myself. I just wanted them done so badly. And to be honest, probably in a TMI sort of way, I have found a few benefits from the nipples being done and they have definitely become my favorite piercings.

At the end of the day, you can hide things such as belly piercings from anybody that you want to. Its something that you can have for yourself and only yourself. My wife loves my piercings and has been very fond of mine.

Well I didn't have a supportive wife and we separated but not really because of Kayla, though I'm sure it played into it a bit. She doesn't really even know about Kayla totally. I find it such a great thing that many of you here have a supportive SO but also find it so hard to believe at the same time. Not calling anyone a liar or anything like that though.

You're right, it's just for me and that's reason enough to do it because I deny myself so much worrying over what someone else is going to think or say about me.

I've had my belly pierced for more than 10 years and have gotten no flack about it ever, you can get a very simple curved barbell installed and it really doesn't attract attention. Buy cute ones for when you want them. Any self respecting tattoo piercing shop wouldn't even tread on "not the straight ones" that is if they want to earn a decent reputation and stay in business. just my thoughts, but i've never been questioned and show it off frequently. i currently have a brilliant sparkling light blue gemmed barbell in for months. again nothin. do it and enjoy being yourself.
Pansy  ;D
Work it in to work it out!

My wife has not been completely supportive, as to a lot of things. And to be honest there are a lot of things, that she is still not coping with at all well. But she has always been one for being yourself and trying to be the person that makes you happy, so shes caught in a confused place, so I don't push it.

We both got our bellies pierced at the same time, which made it easier for her. And its something that we both have always wanted.  But do remember, its something for you and you don't need to show it off. I do from time to time, and have a couple purple barbells in the 2 at my belly. Its something that I enjoy having and I am not prepared to care about anyone else. And when I get my pouch of a belly back under control, I will go about showing it off again, but not until then. That is the fun of those piercings. You can hide it if you want. I love mine, although I do love the nipples more. But thats just me :P

I'm a fat b**** so I've not had it done but would if I was thin

If you want a belly piercing then get one. It might be better to go to a shop that has serious piercers, though.

Kayla,

I agree with workerbeast....if you want a belly piercing, then GET one. Do you walk around shirtless in front of your kids...because as long as you don't do that then how would they ever find out? And unless you're walking around in stomach baring shirts outside of the house(which I personally wouldn't recommend doing if you have impressionable children) then no one else but a significant other will ever see it. So, I say go for it, who cares you only live once!

Haha, that's me too. I'm thinking if I have it done then it'll help me want to and try to lose more weight and get myself a figure. I believe I'm going to get it done.

Well I don't have a flat stomach but I wish I did or at least smaller. My wife was chubby but I had talked her into getting it done, she was so sexy with it. Wish she still had it, wish I still had her.
