I m a few days into HRT. I have kinda achey flu like symptoms and either a soar throat or swollen glands, can't tell which.

Did anyone else feel he same maybe I just coincidently got sick

I think you just got yourself sick. Just wait it out a little longer. When I first began taking hormones, I actually would get hot flashes! Which was very strange, considering that I'm just way too young to get hot flashes, LOL.

Make sure not to eat too much potassium as well, as that can also cause sickness.

I agree with Asunción. Most likely your symptoms have nothing at all to do with HRT. My only problem on HRT was some diziness initially, directly related to the use of Spironolactone. I imagine that this is also why Asunción suggested to be careful about potassium intake as Spironolactone does increase blood potassium levels.
