question about life after SRS.

So im wondering since in most states after SRS your legally considered female, does that mean that if someone was to join there local PD, or fire department and so on, would they take the physical testing under the guidelines set for women, or would they still have to take it as there birth gender?

as a paramedic fire 1 (i dont really use the fire). i can say yes. and my fellow public saftey employees always have my back. i love my brothers and sisters :)
