Finally picked up my HRT. Taking spiro & estrofem. I thought it would not be much of an emotion event after being on & off HRT several times in life however I'm really excited & happy. Maybe it's because I know that I'll be taking nice E for the rest of my life.

Any advice on what to expect girl friends.

        Basically you're entire being will pick up where you had left off previously. Had you experienced any physical female characteristics before?

Yes my breasts became somewhat larger & sensitive nipples. The strong level of premarin gave me hot flashes. However I was not on spiro. I'm so glad for this to hopefully remove all the T. Mentally it was a calming relaxing feeling.

Best you're off Premarin, Estrofem is a better choice, is effective and much safer.

Thanks, I'm not sure if the premarin gave me the hot flashes or not however it was not a real pleasant feeling.

Day 2. 1 Blue pill & 2 Peach pills, I feel good.

Shantel, thanks.  I feel good however I do not look "good" enough. Appointment for next week with plastic surgeon for a face lift & maybe more. The years have slipped by while I was dancing away to Motown music.

Don't I know...I had a neck lift, it had slowly sagged until I thought I was becoming a turkey, and an upper eyelid lift, seemed like the shades were partially down. A little tune up can sure lift the spirits and help a girl's self esteem.

I plan for a face lift procedure to tighten up the skin on my face & I have a small scar that I hope can be removed or diminished. It will good to meet this Plastic Surgeon because I'm sure I'll have other procedures later. I've had some facial surgery before & it was well worth the effort & $.

I'm a firm believer that if it's going to make us look younger and feel better we should go for it. After all, we are all living longer and should be able to experience fuller more satisfying lives with a more youthfull appearance rather than turning into prunes.

I would like the most feminine pretty face as possible without going overboard. It will take time for HRT to make any real changes to my body so it seems now is the time for facial surgery. The years & too much sun have taken their toll on my face like any woman or man. It's just time for improvements.

Hopefully I can fit right in with all the other women that I'm sure will be having surgery. I will inform the surgeon/office that I'm mtf ts, taking HRT. Normally they kind of expect that anyway when a man wants a face lift.

Maybe it will go well, I sure hope so.

I'm sure glad I got my neck and eyelids done, I'm forever getting big complements, seems like people want to hug me more now too. If I had another 50 grand to piddle away I would look gorgeous, but oh well...sigh!

Susan's Place & all the girl friends such as yourself are great. I've met good friends from Australia & all over the US. We all obviously have common needs & desires. I'm open to some friends/neighbors. I just told them I'm taking hormones to finally improve my life & if it's OK with you fine, if not there is nothing I can do however I will be changing my body to into a woman. For now I'm not full time, I still dress kinda male for some things. Maybe sometime this year I can just live one normal life. That wouild be so nice.
