Polish on, polish off, polish on, polish off. There should be a rule that you can only change toe nail polish color once a week, it's too much work removing the polish

I just do my toes once...usually in a "one color fits all" metallic medium red. I then just touch-up as needed.

Fingers I do once a week, clean off the old, put on a different color(s)...:)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Mmmmh, I have a miracle solution to that. Socks.

Sorry, that was pretty useless. But me, I don't know if I'll ever feel up to wearing anything that reveals my feet. They don't look very good, and they're hairy, and even if waxed, you can tell they're supposed to be hairy from the large holes in the skin. :c

That feel. I know it. Moreso about other parts of my body than my feet, though, (i.e. my hands), but it's similar enough.

That said, socks are not a half-bad solution... Stripes, polka-dots, and other cute patterns in adorable colours can be found anywhere, and they never fail to make feet look a hundred times more perfect than they really are.

Nail polish isn't something I really enjoy in any case. It doesn't look great on me, and I would feel too silly about wearing it even if it did.

That is funny, thank you Ms A, life is way to short not to laugh. Just today I also wore socks a while because I did not want to see my feet/toes

I change my nail color often, it's easy/fun, however I just cannot stand it if my toes are not the exact same matching color so here I go again over & over cleaning my fat little toe nails with all the little places polish hides.

Try doing your own acrylic nails.  About once a week,  you have to file and fill in.  Then comes the color.  I did it for years, but because of my profession I keep mine short now.

I tried acrylic long nails years ago. It was kinda fun but natural nails feel & look better. I have to wear gloves a lot however I always feel good when my natural nails get long.

One day I'm going into a nail salon & have a nice set of very very long nails cemented on permanent type so I cannot remove them no matter what. Long nails are a challenge to just do normal things however it feels great really, so feminine & pretty. I tried at home stuff long ago, it was so hard to do, made a mess, I stopped.

Cool, what a nice Christmas present for a girl friend. My mother owned a beauty shop, as a little boy I loved to paint my nails & have girly fun around all the women having their hair done, I still do.

Rarely wear it on my toes.
I hate my feet being touched, even by myself. In winter I'll never wear it, I won't even remove the colour I put on in summer.

These days I'll only ever wear it if I'm wearing open toed shoes, but its now heading into winter here and I'm pretty much living in boots or flats.
Finger nails are always done however, whenever I'm bored I'll change the colour
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that

Nicole, stay warm down your way with nice socks/boots. It seems a lot of members are from your beautiful country. I've met a very nice helpful MTF TS good friend that is also getting ready for your winter.

Doesn't get too cold here in Melbourne, avg is around 10 to 15˚ (50 to 60˚F).

But you'll noticed it with open toed footwear

My toes are painted at all times with various colours :).

But, well, it's currently cold, so nobody gets to see them generally. Instead they get to see my numerous cute socks ( butterflies / ladybugs / dots / hearts / flowers etc ).

My toes saw the light of day months back in summer, and got a few comments on them, but that's about it
