I'm a bit part in a lot of movies but not even a supporting actress in anyone's. If I moved to a different continent, it would be months before any of my in-person friends realized they hadn't seen me for a while.

I get this feeling every so often because it's like I get the feeling that I'm the one making the first contact and asking people how they are. Very rarely does anyone get in touch with me to find out how I am.

I've tried to talk about it without much success so it remains a grey area or a 'problem awaiting an effective solution'. Part of me thinks that many cisgendered people just don't understand that we don't always feel like initiating the contact and that coming into contact with negative stuff kind of puts us off reaching out and making contact.

You end up thinking that there's something wrong with you.
