If one is curious, they should make an inquiry - curious and getting stressed out over the impending affair, that is.

I called the 'legal news' publisher's office [after calling the county clerk, to no avail] and asked them what exactly takes place at these hearings:

"I'm getting a bit stressed out over this; what goes on?"

"You shouldn't. They usually do those in groups of cases and it's a straightforward process."

That helped ease the apprehension quite a bit.

This is a very big change with far reaching effects and ramifications; accordingly, it's next to impossible for me to 'play it cool' with this, but what I heard today helped.
