Hey guys, I just took my first T shot yesterday (YAY) But the thing I really want to talk about is that Ive started a new project of painting a new self portrait every week as a visual log of my transition. I dont remember hearing of anyone doing this before, and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in following something like that.
I have been debating just using the paintings as stand alones, or including the photographs, but I feel like paintings have a lot more personality. I'd like to hear peoples opinions if they have them. This is only the first day, so I only have one picture up, but the url is http://paintingtransition.tumblr.com/   

Probably the most important thing about people being interested is that the more people that are, the more Im held accountable for continuing regularly hehe

I think it would be interesting to see the photographs as well, to see how your perception of yourself might differ to the reality.

Also, I'm insanely jealous of your art skills.  And T.

I love to draw too, but I'm afraid I'd find myself taking too much artistic license with my appearance if I tried to document via portrait 

I find your project really cool, and I think your first painting is great. I'd definitely be up for following your journey through your art

Yeah, thats an interesting point, I probably will post the pictures as well, but maybe as a smaller side note? I sort of want to paint myself as realistically as possible, but again, its hard not to put a little extra personality into stuff like self portraits... hmm...

I think it's a great idea.  I'm part of a new small/indie press, and we would definitely be interested in working with something like that, down the line.
