I'm 5"8 and my height only sometimes bothers me, Usually when I'm standing around women In high heels or very tall men. However there's a tricky problem with my height, My hips are out of whack and I'm 6"0 on my left leg and 5"8 on my right leg. I stand on my right leg a lot, Bad habbit of mine. I always wanted to be 6"5 and super thin. No Idea why!! Haha, We all have fantasies.

Unfortunately I'm moving to the Netherlands with my boyfriend In 2 years. I'm going to be a little shorty over there >_< Oh well. I think having a shining personality certainly makes up for It. So does confidence! Be proud and no one will even notice.

Seeing people being 5'6" and more and still be sad about their height just gives me a rather large sad. I wish I was your height.

Blackbird, welcome in my country! But yes, people are very, very tall here. But be happy you are still 5'8". You could be extra screwed and be only 5'1" in the Netherlands, like me. That's right, even women are -all- taller than I am. *sigh*

I'm 1,80, apparently for FtM's I'm a giant or something, lol!
But yeah, I'm pretty happy with my length, I'm not super tall or big, nor extremely petite and finely build. Lots of guys are bigger, but plenty are also smaller, so... yeah...
But I don't think it matters that much when it comes to passing, yeah. I know a guy in my class who's 1,50! And he never gets mistaken for a girl, (because the shape of his body, I think, which completely a-feminine)

5'1 here...

My height gets me down a lot of the time. And the size of my feet. Mainly because my sisters are so much bigger than me, and I'm the 'big' brother!

Height is sucky, because for someone afab you reach adult height maybe age 14/15 for most people. And yeah, not much you can do about it. I have a couple of really short (female) friends so when I hang around with them I actually feel tall and it's awesome. (I didn't choose them based on height, just saying!)

Yeah, but you never know. Hadn't really grown at all in the past 6-7 years, all of a sudden I've been doing quite a lot of it. And this is years after they told me all my bones had fused. It's an inexact science, really.

Lucky you! I'm pretty sure I won't grow any more because my parents aren't very tall. I think my sisters got the tall genes. xD

I don't have any siblings to compare myself to, but up until very recently it looked like I would never reach 5 feet. My parents are average and you're close in height to me, there's hope for you yet. Stretching and vitamins, my friend.

I started T in my forties, and I appear to have grown 7/8 of an inch. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Mannn I'm 5'5 (I used to be 5'4) and I've never felt bad about it a day in my life.

I'd feel so awkward being taller than myself.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I actually remember never wanting to be tall as a child because I thought It would be too high, (I used to be scared of heights) -- I used to think I would just fall down all the time.

Then when I figured heights weren't so bad, I started saying "I want to be 6'5!!". Silly me, Haha.

I've been dysphoric about my height since i hit 16. I knew I wouldn't grow anymore even though I had a couple years left, and that was well before I knew I was trans (21 now, been trans for about a year.). I was a stud/masculine "lesbian then so that didn't help being that either. I dream of being 6 foot or 6"3 always sounded perfect. my girl is like 3 inches taller than me. All the women but I couple are inches taller and it angers me. I always wanted to tower over them let them lay on my chest, hold them from behind and put my head on there head, etc. but I'm only 5"5 actually right right right below it. I would kill to be 5"8. I know of the inserts for your daily shoes, height increased dress shoes for work but i like being in flip flops in the summer so...If there is a pill or something a surgery I'd take it! There is no sugar coating that. just to be 3-4 inches taller! but keep your head up man, I want to be your height, but inserts and ish will help and let me know if you find something to make you grow.
My profile pic is my hairy pre-t face. I want to be stealth, but my music career may kill that. ;D I like muscle cars, kicks, fashion, music, planes etc. The name I chose for myself is Khai. I'm 22. My ftm Tumblr is: http://gentlemenfck.tumblr.com/

I recently realized that people don't notice how short I am. I'm 5'5 which is extremely short for a guy, but most people just assume I'm average-short. I've gotten into a few conversations about height for whatever reason and people always ask, "So how tall are you? 5'7, 5'8?" So they recognize that I'm shorter than average but no one is going to guess that a guy is 5'5. I used to think it was painfully obvious how small I was, but it's just not. So don't worry about it, your height isn't a big deal to anyone but you and there's nothing you can do to change it.

^ I agree.

At least in my area, most guys are pretty short. A LOT of the guys at my new job are only about 5'5", 5'6". And one's even shorter than me. If you carry yourself with confidence, height doesn't matter too much. I'll still always be down on my height (ha!), but knowing that it doesn't mean much in the end will keep me from dwelling on it too much.
