do you guys find this helps disguise your binder and your chest? Or does it make you bunch up too much?

I've got a formal weekend coming up and i'm stealth. Need to hide a dark binder under light shirts.

I wear a compression shirt with my binder ... it looks like a t-shirt under a collard shirt ... I think it hides the lines of the binder and looks like I just have a t-shirt under....I use to wear t-shirts but found them to get me too hot so now I use compression shirts

I wear t shirts all the time under collared shirts and did when I wore a binder, too.  I never had any bunching, etc. though that might depend on your binder material.  How high up the neck does the dark binder come?  I usually leave a few buttons undone on my shirt.  Your dark binder may show through unless you button higher, so check that out before you leave the house.

I just wear a binder, a white t-shirt that is smaller than the collard shirt, and then the collard shirt. I had a job interview yesterday and wore a white shirt under a blue collar shirt. It looks alright.  I wouldn't worry too much about showing, the three layers shouldn't show too much. If its a dark binder you could always pull it down a bit further so that it is slightly below the buttoned portion of the shirt. It is a common thing to wear so it doesn't look too bunched up.

I wore T shirts under collared shirts and I wore TWO binders. It was fine. I think it will l be fine.

I always wear a T shirt underneath a polo or a button down shirt when I go out.

I don't buy the T shirts in the multi-packs. They tend to be thinner and poor quality. I just get the plain colored Hanes or FTL ones sold separately.

I do the exact same, tees under polos and collar shirts both casual open and buttoned up.  I wear white tees mostly and it works well.  I do it because I personally think it looks good over disguising a binder but I get decent enough quality tees anyway where I can actually wear an open shirt over a white tee and you can't see the binder.  If you wear a dark shirt you can wear a dark tee under but if it's buttoned up a white can look good regardless of colour of shirt anyway.  It depends on how high up your binder comes, I have a more vest shaped one that's quite low so I don't get any issues with it being seen under a tee (important because I like to leave polos unbuttoned) but that issue all depends on shape of a binder.

Also depends on how formal the event is.  If you're going to be wearing a shirt and tie and all that jazz, then I'd suggest getting a good quality thicker shirt rather than wearing a tee under that to disguise the binder.  If it's less formal than that and you don't need (or don't wish to wear) a tie then I'd wear the tee underneath and leave a couple of buttons undone.

Thanks for the responses. I'm stressing a bit because it's a "prestigious event". I need to look nice compared to all these politicians and future lawyers and medical students :/

Daft question maybe, but can you not wear a darker shirt?  Not black, but maybe something a little darker/thicker than white or a pale pastel colour?

This. Buy individual shirts.

I know your thread is about a formal occasion, and the advice people have given you is great.

I just wanted to chime in and say that t-shirts under casual collared shirts with the top button undone to show the shirt underneath a bit helps me with passing so much.  It is like a visual cue, because most women don't wear them that way.

I can't really afford to go out and buy 6 dark shirts. I have to just make do with what I've got. I doubt I could find 6 dark ones that would fit me either, I'm tiny lol

Depends. If it's not visible? Go for it. But, if you can see the shirt peeking out, then don't do it. I recommend watching .

Black under white tshirts create a shadow which will minimize your chest.
