Should I be on blockers?

So after 3 long years of absolutely shoddy service from the NHS I've got a prescription for estrogen patches which I've been on for a month. What I'm wondering is it normal to be prescribed estrogen without some sort of testosterone blocker? I'm 24 years old and I'm on the patches to reduce my risk taking hormones with my liver disease.

Methinks it is indeed pretty standard. My endo started me on E only as well, and we only added low dosage blockers after 6 weeks due to my T still being on the high side (424ng/dl is not really optimal ;)). For many people though it seems E on its own suffices, and it's a lot easier on the liver that way.
