Hi I'm 23 pre everything mtf and I am looking for help. 2 weeks ago I got so sad and depressed I contemplated suicide. There are lots of reasons for my depression. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for over a year now but I haven't felt any changes in my life at all. I don't know what to do. I have just dropped out/deferred my current uni degree to try and sort my life out. I have been struggling with gid anxiety and depression. Sorry if this all post doesn't make sense I think I'm trying to just get out as much info and I can and it may not make sense.  I'm from Brisbane Australia btw.

Cindy

Hi

I'm Cindy and I'm in Adelaide. There are several Aussie woman and men on this site, and a few from Brisbane.

Don't get too panicked we can offer all sorts of advice and help, and we stick together and help each other.

So relax a bit and have a look around and welcome!

Things will get better now. You have friends and a family here.

Hugs
Cindy

Hey there, I'm 23 and from Melbourne. I felt the exact same way you did before discovering this site and then discovering groups in my area. I have an FTM friend from Brisbane who attends a gathering of trans folk around our age. Would you like me to get some details for you?

Thx for the replies.

I wouldn't mind getting in contact with someone locally if you know anyone or any decent trans groups. Just pm any details

I have just emailed my friend. I will let you know as soon as he contacts me  :)

Are you MTF or FTM? Apparently they have groups for different identities.

Hi still dreaming, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11275. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

From sunny southern California, a warm welcome to you, "still dreaming."  As Cindy said, we have lots of Aussies on the site.  I am sure you will bump into a few from your neck of the woods.
