I'm fanatically addicted to dogs and I already own a wonderful year old malinois named River.

In October last year my best friend Mercy passed away and I yesterday I adopted another pit bull in her memory.

His name is Bo and he's a black brindle lanky yearling. I got him from animal control and it feels good to save a life. The poor guy got his nuts chopped off today but its better than being dead on the street.
He's a really cool dog. He wants to climb into my lap and snuggle and he gets along just fine with our resident dogs. Very excited to get to know him as he recovers and starts acting like his normal self!

Yay I love dogs!! ^.^ How old is he?

Idk if I'll ever own a Pitbull, I hear their behavior can be unpredictable. But I'm sure they can be good dogs.

Congratulations!!!

I'd love to own another dog, I've had them for a lot of my life, but I can't devote the time they need to be happy and content at the moment.

I've thought of a cat, but I'm allergic to them!

Yay for adopting a dog! All of mine have been shelter dogs. Hugs, Devlyn

Oh, that's awesome! We just adopted a lab/rottweiler puppy earlier this year. He is gonna be huge!

Dogs are only unpredictable if they are mentally ill. If they aren't its just a matter of learning dog speak. Its like saying French people are unpredictable because you have no idea what they are saying! Large terriers aren't really starter dogs though. There's a good reason why all those cute yorkies bite more often. I always recommend retrievers and spaniels as a first dog.

Congrats on the pup cannedrabbit! I'd love to have a rottie but it will have to wait until my Malinois passes. I don't want more than one sport dog at a time.

Awesome news.  Anyone who adopts is really a hero in my book.  Fostering can also save a life.

The world is 'room to roam.' I haven't had a yard or an apartment bigger than 800 sq ft in over 4 years so we use all the pet accessible places as our playground :)

You know it's bad when you can't get a non-blurry picture unless the dog is taking a poop.
