I must be looking more female or have a female aura.  My wife and I went to dinner last night.  I was dressed as a male.  The hosted said "would you ladies like to sit outside or inside"?  That has happened to us at least 5 times that I can think of where restaurant worker has mistaken us as two women at first.  While I love it... it's not that big a deal, they're just not paying that much attention.

The very best one ever came earlier in the day.  Also dressed as male.  I was waiting in line at McDonalds.  When my turn came the woman at the register asked "can I help you sir?".  As I walked up she said "Oh I'm so sorry can I help you ma'am?".  I smiled broadly and started to laugh.  I could tell by the look on her face that she wasn't sure if she was right the first time or the second.  She said something about needing new glasses.  I thought if I only had my voice down better she would totally accept me as a woman.  Poor lady...I think she was really embarrassed.  If she only knew she completely made my day!  She mistook me as a man at first.  I think I may be getting closer to there being no question I'm a woman.  OK, there is still a long way to go but it did make my day.

I'm super happy for you Julie! To pass as a female even while presenting as a male is really impressive! ^_^

The hormones must really be working

Awesome!  I think the biggest test that you can take to see if you pass is seeing if people identify you as female when you're presenting as male.  How I can't wait for this to happen to me.

I'm too afraid to ever present male again, because secretly I'd just want to be gendered female I almost did it once after a laser session when makeup wasn't working quite right (to say the least), but then got frightened by what I saw in the mirror and decided against it. I sucked it up, threw on a decent day dress and just put the makeup on- crappy as it looked

Hopefully the days of having to hibernate after a laser session are behind me, but I'm not holding my breath yet.

Anyway. That's gotta feel good. I'm happy for you
