If you watch the show you will see that the humor comes from a lazy kid being forced to take on the massive task of saving the world.  The humor is not derived from the crossdressing. The show is respectful of femininity.  Give it a try.  You'll probably like it.

Not at all, why should i? I cleared the misunderstandings of the show up(well, for those who read my post at least) so everything should be fine, right?
For example, in a youtube video where i responded to some misinformation of a homophobic guy, the response i got was, i quote:

I actually feel like i have been the most formal this year in my post here. After all, it's not like i attacked anyone or acted like a brat. And direction? Wasn't it obvious what my direction was? (especially considering i have mentioned it like twice already...) which is, clearing misunderstandings/misinformation up, and i did just that.
I'm not here to talk about transgender, or wether this show will have a positive feedback or wether this show will make the LGBT community better or worse or any of that. I have done that before, and it wasn't pretty. So i sticked to just plain facts in this thread.

Wow! I must a viewed something entirely different!

This is not trans related, or even cd, gay, or what any other label someone may put on it!!

This is about a typical 9-12 old boy that likes being a boy....doesn't care much for girls (yet) and especially doesn't care much about girls girly stuff....he is more concerned with skateboarding, video games and blowing stuff up!

He now turns into a girl super hero UGH!! UGH!!! but wait he's got super powers....ok this trumps having to look like a girl.

This is a show about how boys at that age feel about girls....I should know I have boys this age! My main fear of transitioning was that one of my children would want to follow in my foot steps (even though I know its not hereditary) I have come to find that my boys enjoy being boys.....they think the girly stuff is quite boring and pretty stupid. In fact they have accepted the little girly stuff I do mange to do....but think its as silly as the girls they go to school with.

I can guarantee though if they could somehow obtain super powers by looking like a girl they may think twice about it!!

This show is about how opposite genders view one another and that's it!! I thought it was really cute!!

I just wish it would have been around when I was young....I would of enjoyed it for different reasons though....and I would of dreamed every night about finding that ring!!

I was just curious about your motivation. If it's truly so pure as ending misinformation and combating the endless horde of trolls, then you have my best wishes... but I don't envy you. How did this quest arise, if you don't mind? Why is it so important to you?

A part of why I ask is so that I can hopefully infer something that will reduce my level of apathy. We can take this off of the forums, if you feel that's best - I have Skype.

First things first
Shezow is not about transgender. It can be barely called "Crossdressing", because even though he is a guy dressed in women's clothes, he doesn't identify with it.(in that aspect, its more of a "costume")
He starts to identify a bit with the Superhero persona, but not with the female dressing aspect of it.
Even though the commercials say he becomes a girl, he does not(!), the creator himself confirmed it is just crossdressing, not genderbending, if the voice isn't a give away to you.
He does not identify with transgender, girls or crossdressing, he is just doing it because he has to. But he doesn't have a problem with it either.
At first he was against it, but not because he thinks transgender/crossdressers are sick, but because...he is a 12 year old boy, who identifies as a boy, in a female uniform. If you identify yourself as a girl, how would you feel if you have to wear a male schooluniform? Right, it's like that.
Since episode 2 the crossdressing thing is almost never being mentioned again, as it is not the focus of show...technically speaking.
The rare instances that mention it are 2:
-In one episode he dreams of playing in a football game, while still wearing the Shezow dress, and his friends wonder "Why are you wearing a dress?" he answers with "So what i am wearing a dress" and thats it
-In another episode, a friendly creature wonders "Since when is Shezow a boy? ... Not that there is anything wrong with it." again, that's it
So as you can see, it's almost never a topic of the show, not even played for laughs(aside the first episode for like 1 minute top), and if it is being mentioned, it's NOT seen as something stupid or funny.

As for sexism:
A lot of people complain that the Shezow costume(which was worn by female heroes prior to the protagonist of the show) is playing too much of a stereotype of a girl. You know, laserLIPSTICK, bommerrangBRUSH, superEYELASHES and so on. While that is true, the intention is not of mocking such things, but for appreciating it, it's being played for coolness, not for laughs. Also it is never implied all girls(or boys) should be like this, on the contrary, the female cast of the show all have different and unique personalities.
There is even one episode(which is not available yet, but some images got leaked with the creator himself talking about it) with a person form an parallel universe, which is a girl who gets a mans superhero uniform.
The creator even had a team of female co workers look over the script to avoid any accidentally provocation, to avoid the sexism card.

As you can see, it is just what it looks like, another random cartoon for kids.

Even the HUB himself has tested this Show on a possible audience to make sure it's safe.

If you have any questions regarding the show i will try to answer them.  I don't like the spreading of false information. (which as you can imagine happens a lot of the show)

Thank you!!! I think you summed it up well....in fact I don't even see some of the minor cross dressing issues you mentioned.

If anything....this is a cartoon defending feminism....but I really don't even see that too much....its about a boy disliking all the icky girl things...but then having to look like one to have his super powers.

While the show is trying to be humorous, they don't do it in a malicious way.  Sometimes humour is a way to translate important messages.  How do we know the show won't make statements here and there about crossdressing and say it's okay to be yourself?  It might end up doing so.  I doubt it will have any impact either way, but it doesn't bother me.

I'm not so sure we can claim that glam rock didn't do anything for the trans community, I'll grant you men are not in the same place of being able to wear makeup et al that they could under the title glam rock, but who's to say what seeds it set in society that have been added to and has got us to where we are today, and who's to say that Shezow wont plant a few more seeds in the field of acceptance,  No, neither of them will be the revolution, but so long as its not hate or intolerance, and  even if there is humour involved it will lead us closer to people being aware and hopefully eventual acceptance.

Yeah I totally agree I mean the comments are horrnedous and it is pretty obvious trans hatred. I don't think that was the show's intention but it is its effect. At least with some people cause they have trouble separating things.

I won't read the comments for my own sanity, but I suspect I know what is being said.  This doesn't mean the show will have an overall negative impact.  Of course certain people are gong to be up in arms about it, but it doesn't reflect everyone's views.  Also, the readership and authors of Breitbart.com are likely going to have a skewed interpretation of this cartoon as it isn't the most balanced site.  You can't judge the impact of something based solely on the response of reactionaries.  You need an overall picture.  Still, of course there will be backlash in some media resources.  It's easy to make a sensationalist story about moral degradation and the destruction of traditional values which tends to get lots of attention and hits.
